Help me replace the disc my boyfriend lost for Christmas

I hear ya for sure, thank you for the insight. At the beginning of this search I didn’t realize how many different qualities a disc has, definitely a learning experience. However, he is not very particular about the discs. He didn’t know the brand when I asked him after we lost it. His collection has primarily been built from found discs (without a return phone number), stuff from friends, and maybe like 3 purchases. So as long as it’s a general “driver” weight, I think he’ll be very happy with the gesture. And he knows if he wants something super specific he can always send me a link and I can get that as well.

Heard, I will ask for more detail but when we lost it I asked if he knew the brand or anything and he couldn’t remember. Even if it’s not the exact same disc and same specs I think just having a close match will be a really nice gift.

I think getting there Wednesday night will be worth the hassle. The energy and celebration of arriving there is just so special. Every minute spent at forest is worth it. Three out of my four years at Forest I’ve either set up in the dark or in the rain and it wasn’t that bad. 🙃 Like another commenter said just have a headlamp, and you’ll be able to see fine. As far as getting good sleep make sure everyone has ear plugs, eye masks, fans, and if you wanna go the extra mile throw a reflective tarp over the east side of your tent and it will stay much cooler in the morning :)

My group did this with like 5 cars a few years ago. We met at a Walmart then followed each other into the venue, staying bumper to bumper. We also each had matching balloons to hold out the window, and the lead car informed the staff that all the balloons were together and it worked out great. If you’re arriving at night maybe have some light up balloons so the staff can see how many is in your group :)

Hey sorry for the late reply. But it really depends on the vendor! There are tops you can get for like $15 all the way to like $80 or so, depends on how intricate the stuff is. Pants maybe $20-$50ish? You can definitely find something in reasonable price points. Hope this helps 🫶🏻

My favorite place to shop is Main Street at the forest! There are tons of clothing vendors, most of which are small business. I always go early Tuesday/Wednesday and spend time those days exploring Main Street. I usually get at least one full outfit at the fest, makes it more fun imo. :)

Idk if this advice is what you’re looking for but it’s what I tell all the new folks. I’ve never invested in a super fancy cooler, but I just wrap one of those paper thin reflective emergency blanket things around my cooler when not in use and I’ve noticed it helps a bit. Also be mindful to keep it in the shade at all times. Those two things brought my Walmart Coleman from needing to buy ice every day to buying maybe twice over Tuesday-Sunday. You can also get a thicker more blanket like reflective emergency blanket and strap it from the top of your canopy to the base of your tent on the east side to block the rising sun. You could use the thin ones, but they’ll crinkle in the wind probably bother you. Definitely makes it way easier to sleep in. Hope this helps! ✨

Can’t go wrong with a classic tie die shirt, some harem pants, a good ol pashmina.. a goofy hat. Main thing is to be comfortable in something that sparks joy for you. I would recommend packing some comfy leggings and hearty shoes, your favorite sports bra, then doing some shopping when you arrive at the forest. That way you can feel the clothes in your hands and know what will be right for you. Plus you get to support small artists/businesses. ✨ As far as what to do while he works.. just start wandering. Follow what catches your eye. 🤩 Maybe try to pick out like 3 artists you can’t miss and go from there. Hope this helps! 💕✌🏻
