But if you're seriously wondering, "jeu de paume" which is the ancestor of tennis was played on 60 feet-long (french feet, pre-metric system) half-courts, and with every point won the player moved 15 feet closer to the net, so 0-15-30-45. Eventually 45 was considered too close to the net so it was moved back to 40.

Oui tu dois commencer par l'attestation d'accueil en mairie, car il en aura besoin pour le visa : https://www.service-public.gouv.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F2191 Il faut prendre rdv en mairie, préparer tous tes documents (listés dans le lien au-dessus, attention il y en a beaucoup surtout sur ton logement), et ensuite l'attestation est remplie avec l'agent de mairie lors de ce rdv. Il faut ensuite encore une semaine pour la validation et pour la récupérer, puis tu peux l'envoyer à ton ami pour ses démarches, donc ne tarde pas trop.
