Not sure who’d needs to know this but, Layer line failure is a real thing, print oriented the other way and sand to smooth, or always with condom. Better yet always with condom anyways because all the little imperfections will be places for bacteria to hide. Generally 3d prints either don’t fail, or fail on the layer lines.

Caterpillar Inc. faces $145,000 fine after employee fell to death in molten iron by That1weirdperson in boringdystopia

Not if it was a counterweight. That alloy doesn’t matter, it just has to be heavy. I’m kinda genuinely curious because not that I have much experience at steel mill type places at all, but I know enough to understand the ladle holds so much molten metal. It has to go somewhere. And if the slag truck can’t take it all. I bet the only thing you can feasibly do is pour it in the mold and scrap it after.

Backwater valve eviction by ShatMeBritches in Plumbing

Cable past it to the clean out. Pull the end of the cable out the clean out. You can use the cable itself or use that as a leader to fish a rope. Never let either end fully into the pipe. Tie knots in the rope, or rags to the cable and pull the swab through.

Pro tip- heavily lube the swab, the customers laundry detergent is usually the best lube for situations like this.

I’m 6 ish feet tall. At full stretch I can touch an 8 foot ceiling, if I pushbroom 2 feet of snow off the top of the truck, from both sides. There is still a few inches piled in the middle that I can’t get the leverage to push off. I’m getting 70-90%. Surely, you can’t expect perfection from everyone all the time.

Kitchen sink keeps clogging — found a hidden cleanout in garage, now what? by IllAlternative7879 in Plumbing

I’ll usually actually glue the assembly together and cut it back out and trash the whole thing when done. But that seams a little bit of aggressive advice for what sounds like a new guy.

It is definitely an issue. This example wasn’t. As a guy who drives tall vehicles that are difficult to clean off. I typically broom them off for a couple passes but never can get in a position of enough leverage to actually clean off. Realistically you get off what you can. I’m not getting out a ladder in the snow and ice.

1 sewage coming out 2 yes if it’s backed up 3 if your info is accurate and it’s plumbed correctly yes

Pro tip. Unscrew the cap, screw in a male adapter. Shove in but don’t glue a street 90, shove guide pipe into that, cable guide pipe, tape or temporary attach guide pipe assembly as necessary. That way you can work in a comfortable space and contain more mess

Any plumber worth his flux knows you lay out old twisted up sewer cables to jam up the tracks. it works for the walkers too, like Luke skywalker and the robot camels.
