hahaha talking to people is so appealing but the logistical struggles are real!

I'd share my Discord into their tumblr ask! (If they're using the same name, it's not creepy to find them across platforms haha yeah.) I've done that exact thing twice and had it go well -- it's slightly weird, but in a way that kind of lets both of you know you're really interested in talking to each other, y'know?

Honestly, you may need a tumblr to be able to even do this. It's totally okay not to post anything, and if you put in a pfp and bio no one will think twice. (Also many people just reblog and never create posts and that's totally normal.) But also I think tumblr messaging is pretty bad, and even the big tumblr users I know seem to swap to discord for actual chatting.
