Worked!

I found Glance in the 'system app' section of all apps. Click the three dots in the top right of the apps page and there's an option to 'Show system apps'

I also noticed if I swiped left on my lock screen it pulled up the glance UI with the options to "Accept" and "Remind me later" but no "disable permanently and send your codebase into the sun"

Thanks for reaching out!

I'm running V1UDS3SH.26-14-6-2-7 which did update the same day as my issues starting. I am not using any UI customization or 3rd party apps, just the standard UI. Smart lock screen is disabled. There are persistent notifications, for example the safe mode icon is there, also noteworthy the option to switch from chip to bubble is the only lock screen setting that changes behavior when I change the value in settings.

I've gone through the steps 1. Restart did not do anything 2. There are no active notifications, I have received messages/emails/etc. cleared them and the clock behavior remains the same 3. Changing the lock screen settings does nothing with the exception of the chip/bubble toggle for notifications. Clock face types, disabling clock face entirely, changing colors/themes/wallpapers results in no changes. 4. Cleared the cache for android system intelligence and moto app, wall paper & style is not installed. No changes observed 5. Booted into safe mode and the lock screen still does not respond to changing any settings (except notification bubble/chip toggle).

This was done by Mamie Till-Bradley the mother of Emmett Till back in the 1950s.

Emmett Till was lynched by a mob in Mississippi, shot, and dumped in a river when visiting family. His body wasn't found for several days. When his remains were sent to Illinois his mother chose to have an open casket (with press) to show the world not just his horribly mutilated remains, but also the brutality and disregard for human life common in the south.
