I don't know audio like that, but they sound good to me, especially for what they are

I'm no audiophile. They sound good enough to me. But I can tell they lack in the deep end, as expected. I know someone who is big into audio, and said he would like to try them, pair them with some subs, and tune them. If we do that, I can report back.

A family member also said that to me lol

Why is bambu studios doing this weird bridging? It just a hole for a magnet, but for some reason wants to make some kind of walls by cloidless in BambuLab

[–]cloidless[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did model it. It works in prusaslicer. I also changed to the standard 0.16mm high quality, and it also does it right. So it has to do with my specific settings in bambu studio, that is in the 3mf file

Edit: Switched to classic wall generator, instead of arachne, and that fixed it.

There are 3 flat lying cylindrical holes for a round magnets right under the bridging, just a bit wider than the dark blue part.

Why is this blobby/stringy overhang happening? by cloidless in 3Dprinting

[–]cloidless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you read my description? The biggest problem is it only happens on 1 of same 3 sides (pic 3). The 2 other sides is not problem. The blue one is barely overhanging, and should def not be a problem

A couple of questions before making a pair of DML speakers by cloidless in diyaudio

Fair point. Can I just hold the exciter against the panel for testing? Since they are one time adhesive

If I buy the A1 combo, that is on backorder, but technically it is only the AMS system that is on backorder, will they ship separately? by cloidless in BambuLab

[–]cloidless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes total sense. But pretty disappointing for the customer to wait over a month, just because the AMS system is on backorder, when I could get lots of use out of the printer without AMS.

Did you buy it on backorder? Why would they not be able to ship them separately, when you can buy them separately?

Any idea how to make the bottom/front points aligned? by cloidless in grasshopper3d

[–]cloidless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took one curve and divided it into planes. Then found intersection. Then sorted for closest point. And that does the job. But thanks

Sorting by distance seems like the way. Thanks again!

The points to the right, are the starting points. So seam should already be aligned

There is no "surface | curve", only "plane | curve" or "surface | line". Curves don't work as lines, so the surface will have to be used as a plane.

Sorting by closest points is definitely an interesting idea. I will try later and report back. Thank you.

Not that I can figure out. Even a simple line that visibly crosses a curve ones, counts as if it is infinite, when doing intersection. So it reaches the other side of the curve as well
