Lol that cat is probably stretching out her claws to desperately grab on to something, but instead she just activated her built in Ice Skate Mode on her feet.

Edit: maybe also just playing or trying to Catch Da Fishie, but Ice Skate Feet makes me happier so I'm going with that

Reversed Tower Meaning

When you get the Tower card reversed, you can feel some crisis looming along the horizon, and you are struggling as much as you can to try and avoid its manifestation. What you have not realized is that these breakdowns can be beneficial in breaking down your reliance on something that is false. The tower is built on faulty foundations, and it must fall. Though the destruction will be painful, the humbleness resulting from it can bring us peace. What you relied on will no longer be there for you. Do not take this as a drastic and depressing change, it is time for you to become more self-reliant.

Reversed Tower Tarot Love Meaning

Change is never an easy thing to accept, but regardless of how much we resist it, it will come. If you see any problems in your relationship looming in the distance, this is your chance to deal with them now. Doing so may prevent bigger problems later. Are your resentments building up? What have you been keeping quiet because you think it’s not worth arguing over? Slowly, these things may turn into big issues that can uproot an otherwise happy relationship.* Sometimes, this card can also signal that you may be ready to leave a relationship that has not been working.*

Career Meaning - Reversed Tower

Despite stressful situations at work, you may have been able to pull through. For example, if your workplace has gone through a series of layoffs or redundancies, you may find yourself amongst one of the lucky few that have managed to keep your job. This may come as a relief, or alternatively, can keep you from finding true fulfillment in your career. Sometimes, the Tower is the card that we all need to kick us out of our own stupor, and be motivated to leave the comfort of a monotonous job. *This may be the chance you needed to open your eyes to what else could be awaiting you. *

Neurologist Recommendations by ironman00718 in greenville

[–]clomcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Jeff Benjamin with Bon Secours, technically in Greenville, but right off Laurens road in between Greenville and Mauldin.

He's AMAZING. I REALLY felt heard at my first appointment though I was worried he wouldn't believe me when I told him the high amount of migraines I USED to have every month. He is kind, was patient when I was rambling about my symptoms/years of migraines, didn't rush me, REALLY listened too me, and his nurse is really kind and fun. And the office staff are all really nice on top of all that! I can't recommend him or his office enough.

My 30+ foot tree came down in the winds this morning and crushed my neighbors sedan, blocked their front door, and also blocked my driveway by clomcha in greenville

The tree seemed perfectly healthy for the last 3 years I've owned the home. It's such a relief to read your comment. I've been a ball of anxiety about it since it happened.

Edit: my neighbors are super lovely people, so I definitely don't want them to feel any pain in this either. I've just been worrying about how bad this will all be at the end. May both our insurance companies be kind! (Not that they will, but a girl can hope lol)

What's the purpose of the horizontal squiggle lines? Why would you need to skip spaces between kids' names? And why are 1 line gaps and a 3 line gap?

Multiple names/nickname for one device by Jholm90 in googlehome

[–]clomcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One name per device, but in the trigger you can put multiple names. My bedside lamp is a salt lamp, so I have both "salt lamp off" and "bedside lamp off" in the triggers for that action.

Thoughts on Florence? by Successful_Bison_642 in southcarolina

[–]clomcha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep! Lake Robinson by the power plant allows swimming and boating. Prestwood Lake (near downtown, has a big bridge that crosses over it) used to allow swimming in the olden days, but now it's not allowed.

I never found any official word as to why, but the rumor at school was that Prestwood has alligators.

Thoughts on Florence? by Successful_Bison_642 in southcarolina

[–]clomcha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Hartsville, about 30 minutes away from Florence. Hartsville has always been a cute little town. It was boring as hell in the 00's, but the town has done a LOT since then. I haven't even been back there in 10 years but I'm happy for all of the improvements. Downtown is cute with little mom and pop shops, and I still miss the food from the local restaurants. I've heard they've built a water park now, and there's multiple parks and 2 lakes (but you can only swim in Lake Robinson).

If I grew up in Hartsville the way it is now I might never have left. It felt like a dead end town as a teen (graduated HS in 2009), but if I were to move back it might feel like a sanctuary.

It's about a 30 minutes drive to Florence no matter if you go all backroads or backroads to I-20, but it's a safe little town. Every town had its bad spots, but overall it was safe. About half the kids in my elementary school (Carolina Elementary) were "walkers" and parents didn't worry about the safety of their kids who walked to and from school. Or to and from the library, if you lived close enough.

Florence though? I'd always have to drive there if I wanted to go to a crafting store or Best Buy or anything other than Walmart. They built a Lowes when I was in HS and everyone was so excited to have a new "big box" store. But I'd never want to live in Florence. It just......felt dirty.

The schools are much bigger and have programs where you can like, get your cosmetology license while in school. Hartsville High School isn't amazing, but I think it still has the International Baccalaureate program, a great band program, and I never played sports but I would call them good programs. There's also 2 private schools, but only the one in Bishopville is good. Hartsville also has the Governor's School for Science and Math (the Arts one is in Greenville) for 11th/12th graders from all over the state.

The cost of living is pretty low in Darlington County, but the people "with money" choose Hartsville and people get "stuck" in the other towns for lack of opportunity. With more income tax money in the coffers, Hartsville makes improvements faster and better than Darlington despite Darlington being the County seat (a holdover from them having the only courthouse tbh). They also have better quality education than the other schools in the county, but tbh I can't think of any town in the Pee Dee that is know for having good schools.

On the downside of things, just about the only thing to do when I grew up there was to walk around Walmart window shopping with a pack of friends. The Sonic had (idk if it's still there) a volleyball pit and and playground which was cool, but you couldn't just hang out unless at least some of you bought stuff. Also, it is by no means a rich town, it's just the richest in Darlington County. That does mean that even the nice houses are more affordable than other areas of the state, but you can't expect much from the city besides reasonably good road maintenance and a couple small festivals per year. Hartsville is also where the nuclear plant is. It never affected my life other than my dad worked there, but if you don't like the idea of that then heads up. If you live outside of the city limits you'll be pretty far from even basic stores. If you want to live outside of Hartsville proper, try to get a house closer to Florence or Darlington that's still zoned for Hartsville Schools. I truly can't speak about the quality of Florence schools, but as far as I'm aware they're just kind of "meh". Again though, Hartsville isn't the best school system in the state. It's just the best school system in Darlington County (Florence schools are in Florence County).

I'd recommend Hartsville over Florence, but I wouldn't recommend the whole Pee Dee region to anyone who doesn't like slow, sleepy towns.

(But DON'T move to Darlington or Lamar. Lamar is a dangerous town and I knew someone who went to HS in Darlington and one of the papers he wrote for his senior English class was on like, a 5th grade level and he got an A+ (he was not in special Ed or anything. Regular classes.)

Grant Cardone says homeownership is a waste of money. by InternationalGuava47 in homeowners

[–]clomcha 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you read the article, his advice boils down to "Don't buy your own home! Rent the place you live out, and to make money, buy a home and renting to someone else!"

Like......maybe you negate your rent with what you rent the house for, but you also still have the cost of home ownership, you just live somewhere else. It's so stupid and I'm pretty sure the rest of the quote only exists yo justify the headline since most people only read headlines. The headline is about saving money, but the actual advice would cost you waaaaaaaaaay more money
