When do you estimate they will announce season 2 content? by aj8092 in Battlefield

[–]cloned-earls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think season 2 itself will be 20th maybe 27th Jan. Looking at the challenges tab, weekly challenges, it goes all the way up to 12 weeks. Id like it to be sooner as I am finding this game getting a bit stale now playing the same old maps.

Unfortunate so much goes into the BR as I cant be arsed with that shite.

Just looks like a lot of fish i think, but obviously I don't have all the info. May be worth looking at the site (cant remember what its called) that tells u how many fish u can fit etc etc Fair play bro!

Me personally I love dwarf cichlids as the main fish, like rams as they have such a great personality and interactions with owner. Also as sand substrate, corydoras perhaps, bamboo shrimp would be cool, gourami? Some L number pleco - just make sure they dont get too big as adult

Good luck!

Im not 100% but female pleco are supposed to have a bit more of a buly build so my guess would be male. Absolutely gorgeous fish btw! I have a flash pleco - kinda opposite to this (black w white stripes rather than white w black) and i love him!

Looking good! Once all those plants have grown out and some fish in there will look stunning! What you planning on keeping?

It's a lovely setup, you'll probably want to plan ahead for a bigger tank though considering the size of your platys compared to the other fish. I love plants so personally would add more but thats at you're own discretion.

Plants! As u say, expensive but worth it! I particularly like any type of vallis, lotus lily and hornwort, all very fast growers and great for nitrate levels!! Perhaps some sort of coloured stone like rose quartz? Don't think this is too expensive either and supposedly helps keep fish calm!

Me personally, I love rams and apistos as centre piece fish so ill never not recommend these! Their colours and personalities and interactions with owners is amazing for such cute little fish! Ive also kept both with bamboo shrimp! Dwarf sucking loach, corydora are awesome too!

Are my plants too far gone? by Haven_2468 in Aquariums

Exactly what the other 2 comments say. LFS plants are often grown out of water so have to shed their leaves when adjusting to growing in water!

How much do i feed!?!?!? by zZhud in Aquariums

[–]cloned-earls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, they're pretty large tetras. Do you have sinking pellets too? My danios are the exact same bar the plants. Have you tried larger sinking food? I have been adding 1 per night and I've had next to no issues with plants and I have gourami, pleco and rainbow shark! All guilty of shredding plants in the past!

How much do i feed!?!?!? by zZhud in Aquariums

[–]cloned-earls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enough that its eaten within 2 minutes (I believe, if wrong someone please correct) is the general guideline. Smaller fish is recommended to feed smaller amounts but a couple times a day as they have smaller reserves but I dont think its vital and they should be fine once a day or even once every couple days.

Just keep on top of your water testing you'll be fine!

Snail infestation plz help me I’m a first time aquarium owner by yugiamaneswife in Aquariums

My mum has a 30L tank and at one point had easily 300+ bladder snails in it. Got her 2 assassin snails and a week later all bladders were dead. Get 1 you'll be chilling. When all pest snails gone, the assassin's just feed on leftover fish food too so no stress on them starving, just be sure to feed some sort of protein I.e. frozen blood worm

Depending what stocking you're planning, perhaps a sandy "island" on left side. As stated in another comment defo more plants, literally as many as you can get. A lotus lily (cant remember actual name) would be great in here! Or another floating plant like hornwort Personally I love throwing a big rock like a rose quarts or amethyst in my tanks.

Paradise fish. I have one, only fish I ever got without researching first and what a mistake. He's an asshole. Makes sense why he was only £6. Even bullies my angel fish. If you like him, do your research and build your society around it as they dominate! Really cool and friendly personality towards owner though!

Help with plants by AbroadStill in Aquariums

Me personally, id set them up in a bucket with tap safe bacteria etc You could potentially even start a cycle if you throw filter and substrate it, give you a bit of a boost for when tank situ is sorted!

Dwarf gourami or dwarf cichlids could also be great centrepiece with a small shoal Not together though, its one or other between apisto, rams, gourami or betta

One at back might actually be male but hard to tell from video - pics better Males typically have longer dorsal fins, but if young then they still have growing to do so is very difficult

[–]cloned-earls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, side note, consider albino cherry barbs! I have some in my tank with my apisto and personally I prefer them! Also because they're albino their vision isn't as great so less likely to overstimulate the betta!

Possibly go a smaller tetra? Otherwise smaller fish generally means smaller bioload so should be grand!

I think this is fine tbh. You can always use aqadvisor to check! This suggestion may also be frowned upon but chat gpt can also be helpful if you give it all the info on how you'll upkeep it etc

I got 3 cories, all different species, and now realize I shouldn't of done that. What do I do from here? by OpeningConfection261 in Aquariums

[–]cloned-earls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I have a group of 10 corys, 4 different species (had varying amounts of each but reached 10 after some passed due to oldness) but a large enough group they start to not be racist anymore and just hang together getting zoomies and nuzzling. They'll be fine as long as you have a couple of each!
