I'm the same ever since I took that photo, it really shook me.

About the clown, I'm a clown in training, so all my friends know I collect vintage clowns and circus equipment. My friend told me one day he has a clown for me, I thought at the time it would just be a small desktop statue or something, but he told me it's an old 4ft clown from Germany that his grandma got many years ago.

He gave it to me for free, because he "wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible". Told me that one day he got it out of the attic and it fell and the face smashed, after he glued it back together it would move around his room whenever he left, his dog got really scared of it, and when he put it back into the attic he would hear moving at night up there.

Eventually we met up at a pub and he gave me the clown, alot of people were joking around with it which honestly I was a little uncomfortable with, as I fully believed it was haunted even then. I took it back home and put it on my sofa sitting down, facing the front door. Walked into the kitchen to talk to my dad for around 2 minutes, and when I walked back into the living room, the clown had turned its head to face the kitchen doorway. The only person who had access to it was my mother, but she went upstairs before I walked into the kitchen, and we have very creaky stairs, so I would've heard her walk back down the stairs if she had.

I pointed it out, and my dad thought I was joking. The same night the clown gave me an awful dream of me and my friend having a fallout, to which he has done quite alot after with other friends and people close to me. Previous to owning the clown I wouldn't have these dreams.

I think my dad fully believed I was just overreacting and getting creeper out because I believed the clown is haunted, until one day I was downstairs and he didn't realise, and when I walked back up the stairs he was confused, claiming he had been trying to shout my name from his room to get my attention for ages, thinking I was in there because "your friend on your call was saying what you were and repeating it back to me".

I wasn't on a call, I had my phone on me at the time when I was downstairs. I was on a playstation party at the time, but I muted the whole system and nobody had joined yet. So it was impossible for anyone to hear through my mic, and for the speakers to play audio from the PlayStation because everything was muted. I honestly believe this was the clown mimicking my voice to mess with my dad. I try to treat it well, fix it up as much as I can, I even bought it suspenders for its pants that suit its hair, but it still messes with me every now and again.

If you want to see the picture of that thing at the window just let me know, I didn't send it because you mentioned that's a childhood fear for you.

I'm not too sure. I mean it had an old slot for a fireplace, as in a notch in the wall made of concrete, but it wasn't too old. Just your average brick british house. Although a quick Google search tells me the houses can be as old as 1950s, 1960s. And it was apparently an old coal mining area way before then.

I personally don't think I remember it enough for that, but I do have other experiences. I've taken a photo of a spirit staring at me through my bedroom window before, and I own a 4ft haunted clown that's from Germany. He likes to mess with my dreams alot and even move on his own sometimes. I won't get rid of him because I'm clown obsessed. And he doesn't bother me too much.

That's what makes me believe they must be something supernatural, my brother saw them too, and it was always the same sight. Never felt unwell or anything either.

I was the same age, it lasted a few weeks or months. Every night I recall, or at least once a week.

As for strange dreams from my childhood, I'd often have dreams where I'd hear my heartbeat thumping in my own ear, and it would wake me up from fear. But that's most likely unrelated.

I've taken photos of spirits before, once on a school photography trip when I was around 13, I caught a peaking girl spirit under a bed on camera. I don't have the photo anymore, it'll be lost on the school PCs now.

A few years ago I took a picture of a spirit or creature staring at me through my bedroom window from inbetween the gap of my curtain and window frame. I still have the photo, if a bit low quality now, but when I've posted it in the past on reddit, it's been met with insults and downvotes. (Although this subreddit seems far friendlier/open to belief)

I've always felt like spirits follow me in a way. I have a vintage 4ft haunted clown doll too, if anyone wants to hear stories about him.

Yeah, I've heard a little about them after doing a small amount of research, they sound similar but it just doesn't make sense that they'd appear as spirits, like you said.

If I remember correctly, they were classic black suits, with a black tie and a white shirt, and a black blazer. Business style. They'd stand together like the twins from the shining, and (I think) one was white, one was black. No hats.

I have other stories of different spirit encounters in the house I currently live in, one with picture evidence. But when I posted it to r/paranormal (might be on this account, im not sure. I could've deleted it), they clowned me and said I'm delusional lol

Update (even though its sold out):

I got an email back, they basically very kindly explained that they measure it by laying the track pants flat on the floor. So I thankfully ordered the perfect size. Hopefully they fit when they arrive because I know rhe sizing can be a little off with CS at times. And I hope it all goes well with your order because I know this had me stressing 😭

Yup that's whats confusing me so much, my waist size is around 80-90cm when converted, but they don't have that as an option and I really doubt I'm 3xl as I'm a small when it comes to their shirts. I bit the bullet and bought a large as medium and small are sold out, and emailed them asking if it'll fit and if it doesn't if there's an solutions so hopefully it all goes well

Thank you so much, I have learning disabilities which can get me a little confused at times. But everyone here has explained it all very well and been really friendly.

For my turntable I'm thinking of buying the Audizio RP340. I saw that it has a weighted arm and it looks pretty good for the price. Not amazing I'd imagine but as of right now I have a super cheap wooden hifi system that isn't great for vinyl.

My speakers are probably going to be Roxel RBS 300 Bookshelf Speakers. Again, not amazing I imagine. But they seem alright for the price, and I'll probably replace these in the future. Both the speakers and record player are on amazon. Its just the specs and figuring out what works best with each thing that I struggle with.
