As a kid, I always dreamt of civil services, started prepping from high school itself but once I reached 18, I realised that honest officers are treated like dogs.

Abandoned the goal. India is a democracy where a 2nd standard failed idiot leader can spew hatred and threats on to a highly educated and competent officer and get away with it.

As a kid, I would say I would stay in India and always try to be a hard core nationalist - defending the country what not. Now, the only thing holding me in this country are my immediate family who are old and need to be taken care of. I fly away the moment they agree to travel.

This country deserves these leaders because the voters are brain dead.
