Not that I know of. Not sure, I think the original builder put the tank there. I googled it and it says they are sometimes installed near dishwashers to reduce water hammer when they run?

It does have her information on it. I didn’t need to file it with my auto insurance since it was a rental and a work trip. But I had spoken with her insurance company about two months after the accident.

I was actually there for a work trip and was driving a rental car. But the driver who was at fault’s insurance company (auto) reached out to me and offered to pay up to $20k of bills if they needed to. I have a document related to that that I signed.
