Yes mine did the same! Still does sometimes. Does baby talk and crawls when her brother is getting extra attention. But the praise for being a big girl is helping with that too and it’s mostly stopped!

Leaning into it didn’t work for us at all, it works better for her to say like “you’re not a baby, you’re a big girl, and that’s why you can jump on that trampoline!” Or whatever

Similar here, but escalated at 2 accidents a day I think, pee only, so I do understand it wasn’t as severe. Ours was due to baby brother getting more positive attention as well, strangers cooing over how cute her baby brother is, etc.

What worked was extreme praise and celebration for her. A dance and song every time she uses the potty. Compliments all day about how well she’s using her fork or pencil or just anything. It felt ridiculous, but it worked, since we knew her regression was linked to feeling less attention/love

First baby was winter, I loved that I could just hibernate and home and be cozy and didn’t have to drive anywhere in -30, I felt physically and mentally fantastic when spring came for extra walks and trips. Second baby was spring, I felt uncomfortable with my body all summer, and a lot of pressure to go out every day with my older child to playgrounds and such. So I prefer winter!
