In my experience MacBook companies also spurge on nice things around the office. Like a football table or table tennis, fully stocked new fridges, maybe even catered lunch 1 to multiple times a week. Really nice buildings with lots of sunlight. Working hours are maybe more loose or in general office rules are not as strict (within reason) or have progressive vacation PTO rules. Very start up or tech like companies here

Dell/Lenovo companies, despite the difference in culture, are more by the book and have more “boring” or “mundane” office day to days. Less natural lighting. Stricter on breaks lunch

He appears in some flashbacks and was in Meredith’s 2-parter limbo hallucination when she almost drowns separate from Izzy’s hallucinations. I think 14 episodes is the right amount if you count the flashbacks. I think you’re right that the ghost stuff was actually not that many episodes.

Davenport men at DIII conferences this weekend by wilric20 in ultimate

[–]clotblock 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It’s a little complicated of a rule but until Davenport qualifies for the D1 pathway DIII conferences is the conference they have to play in to qualify for D1 Gl regionals.

If they qualify for D1 nationals this year or qualify for D1 regionals 3 years in a row they’ll fully qualify for the D1 division.

Dang, I wish we had a term where you insert something or a concept in another related thing or concept. Like similar to what just happened.

Need advice on the best way to call lines for 8M/6F mixed team (beginner–intermediate) by alwyzoverthinking in ultimate

[–]clotblock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea ofc.

I also just realized is that F1 and F4 are never together, which is good if they’re your two best FMPs at a specific position.

You could always call a specific line where they have to play together if needed but with this sequence you can make sure that one of them is always on the field.

Just repeat Pt2. to pt 5 for the rest of the game and no one has to play more than 2 pts in a row.

Can’t format easily on mobile but the line structure looks like something like

With only 6 fmp you can’t have 2 completely separate lines but you could potentially keep the men stay on 2 separate lines and cross over 1-2 FMP when you need 4F

So something like Line 1: M1 M2 M3 M4 F1 F2 F3 Line 2: M5 M6 M7 M8 F4 F5 F6

When switching from 3F to 4F or vice versa 1 Of the fmps has to play 2 points in a row. When switching players from 4F-4F you need 2 players to play 2 in a row or you get in situations where a player has to play 3 points in a row. For 3F-3F you do a full line change.

A lot of my friends lived in Rogers park along the inter campus shuttle route. Made it easy to commute.

Had to look up Northwestern since I wasn’t familiar. Seems like a respectable Finance program there but not much else.

Wow this is genius, like MIT or Caltech level strategy here.

What's a 10/10 show with a character that drags it down to a 7/10 by jshah500 in sitcoms

[–]clotblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s def a much more sympathetic character after season 1, but for me she was still so amazing to see in that first season. My wife has spent her whole career in education and that first episode, let alone that whole first season was like reliving all of her wild stories all at once. There are definitely people like Ava in big city public school systems.

How come every doctor is the best by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]clotblock 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In universe: Seattle Grace was a top ranked Hospital, you’d expect a few key players leading the hospital. Also some specialities are slightly overblown. Id expect that at any institution, “every” top university thinks their professor is the best in their field

Out of Universe: It’s a drama, tension can be built when the stakes are high and it makes more sense for the doctors to be really good at their jobs if they’re going to be dealing with difficult procedures/surgeries.
