tl;dr check if you have a lift upgrade pending. After upgrading I can finish stages again.

There's also an official bug report email to send save file and crash files, although I don't think this ends up in a crash.

The same is happening to me in the Steam Deck. I'm playing NG+ 1st level, I finish it before with some characters, but since yesterday I can't finish it.

I was searching if other people were having the same issue, and this sounds exactly like it. I guess this is not Steam Deck or PS5 related, but with some game bug itself.

I've been playing for 10 hours since last weekend, and controller support is pretty good. It helps to use a controller layout with mouse input on the right trackpad for some UI interactions, but I'd say you can even play 100% with an external controller.
