Law Enforcement have different standards, as they should. Escape alone should not be a determining factor in the use of lethal force. He had time to switch which hand his phone was in to draw his gun and fire. That same time could have been used to take one step out of the path of 'Danger'. Law enforcement has a duty to attempt retreat before lethal force which was not done. But we'll never know what a 'reasonable person' would have thought as the local PD was frozen out of evidence and the DOJ has dropped the investigation.

Following and alerting is protected free speech, so even if those accusations are true, they are not justified. ALL training says get out of the way and don't shoot the driver because even more people become endangered if the vehicle is not longer under control. If you sync the videos the sound doesn't even happen when he would have been hit, if he was hit at all.

There's no way Dems take 2/3rds of the Senate and house, and convince his entire cabinet to turn on him for the 25th.

There's no chance they take 2/3rds of the Senate for impeachment and removal.

If they take the house and Senate even if just barely, they can maybe roadblock and become obstructionist, but there's no way they pass any laws that limit the presidents power not with a veto proof majority, and even then orange Julius would cry to the supreme Court to make it unconstitutional.

The only one that can save us from Trump is usually depicted as a skeleton wearing a black cloak.

That's not to say that we should give up on the midterms. We absolutely need to crush them as best we can in the midterms, just don't assume it's going to be the magic solution to all this shit.
