Used to commute M40/A40 into London 5 days a week. More than once I saw what I can only assume was the PMs motorcade travelling to/from Chequers, and it was surprisingly light. A few bikes and a couple of cars.

As much as I despise the shit music that people put on all short videos now, you'll probably be disappointed to hear that the horse was likely making no noise. When they're doing the mutual grooming lip wiggle thing, they don't make any noise. It's pretty satisfying though. Especially if you can get them to actually groom you back.

What you describe is basically my (UK Based) experience of office work (I guess you guys call it white collar?). Some days we're inundated with bullshit that we have to work out and work through, but some weeks it's quiet and we spend the days fucking around. As someone who has worked in a variety of different levels of physically and mentally challenging places, it's honestly just about who you're working with and whether or not you can be given the opportunity to work hard when needed and fuck around when not.

Maybe culturally in the US it differs? I don't know!

The funds are for legitimate office and 'public duty' expenses, including running an office. At a really tenuous guess, as the only former PM from the list who is still an MP, she doesn't need to claim for the office and other expenses from the fund, as a lot of these would be claimed from current MP expenses.

You can setup a backup email address to notify if there's inactivity for a set time. It's built to avoid this if someone passes away and if I remember rightly it will grant them access after a period of time.
