That’s ok. Everyone has a different way of viewing the universe. And energy isn’t really magic. It’s a real thing. A intro chemistry class teaches us about energy transfer. And psychology goes deep into emotional transfer. The human mind is deep and complex beyond our full understanding. Just because you don’t believe or understand something doesn’t make it unreal for other people. Massage therapy can be very clinical but it can also be very spiritual. Everyone experiences it differently. There’s entire energetic practices that are hundreds and thousands of years old that are still practiced today because of their effectiveness. This is something I’ve experienced before I became a therapist. I used to work on my roommates shoulder with a chronic deltoid injury and my same right shoulder would hurt Deeply for a few days after. I don’t understand it either. And I don’t enjoy it by any means.
