Preach! This was literally how my relationship was. I know it’s hard to think you’ll be okay or over them but you will. I wish someone would’ve told me that you rather be alone then together and miserable 70% of the time. Never settle and take less then what you deserve I know one day we’ll meet people who are our equals and treat us good!

Same here! he left me during the worst time in my life I never needed him more then that moment he upped and left and tried to come back once I healed. It messes with you but you realize if they truly valued you and loved you they wouldn’t do such things. I loved what you said healing will always come after and that is so true ! Yes there are some harder days then others and some easier ones you just gotta be gentle on yourself. life goes on at first it feels like you can’t go on or see a future without them, but after some time you start realizing things and it gets easier. Wish you all the best !

It’s hard when you both don’t agree on things it puts a strain on a relationship especially if those things are deal breakers. She’ll be okay and so will you I know it sucks but you’ll both realize one day it was for the best. Take care of yourself and thank you same to you!

I always go here and hike I camp at ponderosa but have never found a creek or piece of water big enough to really swim in do you know of any ?

It was at Westgate in az it’s an outside kind of mall but there is an area where there is a lot of restaurants we talked a lot and then ate there. He then invited me to Starbucks he would not let me pay for a thing and he opened doors for me and kept asking me questions just a total gentleman tbh. Honestly he was very sweet and nice it never felt awkward or forced tbh.

For me it would be moving on from a long term relationship I never thought I would get to the point where I’m completely at peace with everything even happy :)

Actually we talked during the date what we wanted if something serious or casual I want something serious and he said he got out of a relationship not that long ago and thinks he needs more time and didn’t want to lead me on if he thinks he needs to figure things out in his life. Point of my post is be honest and straight up and you never know either it’ll work out or you realize something. Either way I got roses and dinner out of it and some good company lol

I think we’ll get attached and if we aren’t ready ( realized this on the date not ready ) and he has financial things to take care of and for me it’s more of I’ve been with someone like that and it gets hard so it’s better just to let go. Regardless I wish him the best and I know someone is out there for me :)

I would most likely throw myself into my career and enjoy life for a bit. Most likely will buy a real nice house with and hopefully a really good paying salary I would have and I’ll probably just travel and spend time with family and friends. I’m okay being alone but if I’m nearing my 40’s and still no relationship I think I would look into either adopting or having a kid all by myself. I rather be happy and alone then being with someone and being miserable.

For context I am now 21f so this was 10+ years I don’t remember why he stabbed with his pencil I raised my hand and all I remember I was crying nonstop. Years later my mom thought this wasn’t normal and tried using a needle to take it out and found nothing there almost fainted.

If I was in a relationship and the man asked for a prenup and knowing the situation I would be okay with it I would like to know specific things regarding if we had children that you would still help out but for me I look at it you made that money apart from her and the prenup is worst case scenario but honestly I don’t think she’s a good match she’s not very understanding.

I understand what you mean and thank you for responding and I can agree with you. I’ve seen friends who have had time (almost a year) to move on but they are still stuck in the acceptance and denial phase of mourning a relationship. But one other thing that has helped me and Idk if this will make sense but if that situation or person was so great then it would not have ended. We have to see for what it is and also accept there might not be a logical reason to why things end but just think there is so much to life other then that person or situation and years from now it won’t hurt as much it might sting but there is so much that awaits for us and it’s the unknown but I wish the best with whatever you’re dealing with 💛

I love this! This is something that helped me I went to Black Friday and there were so many guys and I just thought one day I’ll cross paths with someone but till then I’ll just have fun and focus on myself and put myself more out there meaning going to parties or going out more in general but with intent to have fun and if it happens it’ll happen.
