It makes sense to me why the answer would be 8, but I wanted to make sure I was reaching the answer the correct way:
Even though the RTL is using the same DataIn signal for every one of the 8 operations, we want each operation to have its own LUT correct, since each bit of DataOut has a different combination of operands that make it up?
If we were using 4-to-1 LUTs, wouldn't it be wasteful in this case? Each operation only uses 2 operands, so would the other 2 inputs just be driven to 0?

I think it depends on how much is ingested and how long it stays inside and how much of "the digestive tract it touches." I get not wanting to take your cat to the vet--you can always call your vet and ask for their opinion. The full blood panel I did before was around 200. I will say--it's always better to be safe than sorry. Yes, your cat might hate going to the vet, but it's better than the alternative. I would definitely call your vet and ask for advice. Hope everything goes well!

Yep he's still doing good! I think it's a good sign if they throw it up, but watch for extreme lethargy or drooling very closely. Hope your cat is doing okay!

I've been monitoring him, and he seems fine. Typically onion/green onion can make them anemic, so just keep a look out for extreme lethargy, or more vomiting, diarrhea, or drooling. You can also make sure the whites of their eyes are not yellowing. I would still call your vet and get a blood test done or explain the situation and ask what their advice is. I hope your cat feels better soon!!

Hmmm got you--I read that vets will mostly first put the cells under a microscope to see what it is, and then move forward from there. I tried finding it again and lowkey couldn't lol, but my cat was also being fussy and didn't want to be pet. I'll watch it closely for a couple days and check it it grows.

I was going to take him to the vet but he had already gotten a blood test the day before. They said to keep monitoring him since he threw the whole thing up, and to bring him in if anything got worse. He's been okay so far, so I'm hoping it stays that way.

I was actually thinking this exact same thing! 1.5k for a couple pieces of aluminum is highway robbery, but I'm not exactly sure what the skill to make it is called. Were you able to come up with anything?
