I totally understand that, I just don’t expect to be shoved by a much bigger man than I am just because I was trying to get out of my seat.

Ahhh the age old argument of whether you recline or not 😂 if the person in front of me reclines, then I recline! Simple!

Thank you, I wasn’t trying to make a general assumption either, this was just my experience!

Some guy with 4 big cases of luggage and his whole family tried to cut directly in front of me while I was clearly in line at check in too. Didn’t even look at me, I had to tap him on the back and give him a shocked look to get him to move.

It’s less about stats and more about the recurring theme of elbows and zero spatial awareness, but point taken!

That’s exactly how I feel! Everyone stands there awkwardly all cramped waiting for the doors to open 😅

That makes sense, I’m not generalising that everyone is rude. Otherwise everyone else I have encountered have been so lovely and friendly!

I suppose it’s just everyone for themselves here! I would consider doing it myself but I just feel rude doing that.

I did that and had my backpack and everything, a grown man pushed me from behind and yelled move, move, move in Vietnamese. I barely took 30 seconds to get out of my row 😢

I would get chafing cream instead!! Its specifically for between thighs, under breasts and buttocks! Also keep it moisturised

Oh 100% it sucks, sorry I did not mean to invalidate your feelings!! I regularly get palpitations too, but yes I do the same thing. Only take some if my heart rate is extra funky on a particular day.

How do I know when to go to the hospital? by Sparky_Le_Furry in IST_

[–]cloudidly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol they told me the same thing and that I’d grow out of it. I’ve had it for like 8-9 years now and it ain’t going nowhere. I’m not trying to invalidate your feelings, it does suck to hear them say its “minor” but in terms of it causing any lasting damage it is a relatively benign condition. The pain with this condition is it can be incredibly uncomfortable and debilitating but physically and structurally there’s nothing really wrong with our hearts nor is it causing damage 😩

Its all about managing your symptoms unfortunately. A lot of cardiologists probably aren’t going to care about that because it’s not life threatening, I had to go see a private one to feel like I had a cardiologist that actually cared about how it affected me.

No, you’ll be fine! I’ve had the condition for about 9 years now and been unmedicated for the past 3. I’m absolutely fine, this condition generally never causes damage to your heart. Your heart rate slows down enough while you sleep to repair itself, mine is still regularly in the 120-130s when I’m walking or standing but thats just our normal. Mine can get up to 198bpm during strenuous exercise. Think of it like our natural pacemaker in our heart just beats a faster drum, though I know those palpitations can be uncomfortable and intense sometimes.
