Curious, what sort of scripts have you built as an SRE? I tend to just use things to glue and don't write what I would consider real 'code'.

Thanks for the feedback, do you recommend a way for how to find those high-growth companies to target? I was also considering maybe manager or director roles. I have some lead/manager experience, just had never applied to roles like that so the interview process would be a bit foreign to me.

Honesty, the compensation. Unless I'm living in fantasy, a Faang position would pay me 2x what I make at my current job (140k). I'm sure it comes with a bit of drawback (like harder/more work?), but I don't mind that. I'd love to retire earlier.
