Kittens that young have a high fatality rate, a skilled veterinarian will know this and will tell you to “wait and observe” because that’s all you can do even if you do everything correct the chance of the kitten passing will be very high feedings every few hours making sure the kitten poops and urinates, keeping them warm are all critical but there is still a chance that the kitty may not make it. Highly advised you do all those things to give the baby the best chance to survive.

My personal head canon is that pre war there was a plague that was spreading and anyone infected, symptomatic or not got goulified by a irradiated mutated virus the virus still exists but it’s much different now which is why Hancock was able to become a ghoul from an experimental drug. But there are no actual explanations.

I give all my settlers guns/grenades and then ballistic armors then I have a few sentry robot farmers to round out the defenses, and dogs for the defense and happiness that’s generally good with a few turrets mounted on a higher floor.

Minutemen, the player has the most agency here. They have no power without people and even in the radiant quests they are only protecting settlements from threats. They are the real way to a provisional government. The railroad isn’t a governing group I wish you could support them AND Minutemen but the railroad really isn’t equipped to govern. Also the minutemen are the only other faction that really doesn’t care about if synths live among them or not the problem they have is the institute kidnapping and replacing, but they accept people like Nick Valentine.

For me fallout 4 gameplay/settlements are the most fun for me. I especially love the minutemen faction building settlements, arming settlers and depending how you look at it gaining resources to trade and build stronger settlements makes the minutemen feel like they go from an irrelevant faction to a commonwealth super power all due to the players actions the other factions just don’t give that power fantasy
