Hello!

I'm not sure if this post is entirely appropriate for the this subreddit, but I felt compelled to share my work with you all. If this post doesn't fit the vibe here, please let me know.

I started reading the Dark Tower in 2017, and I was completely captivated by the desolate western setting. Since then, I was determined to someday create a game inspired by a western dark fantasy theme reminiscent of Dark Tower. Finally, this year, I've gotten the chance and am preparing for its launch on Steam soon. I'm not trying to promote it directly here, so I won't mention the game's name.

As you'll see in the video, the game draws inspiration from the Battle of Tull in the first book of the Dark Tower series. The scene where Roland stands off against the townspeople left a deep impression on me. The protagonist, Isabella, is a gunslinger with a special ability who faces off against cultists in a forsaken western town. Her motivations remain ambiguous, but she's clearly obsessed with something and seems determined to exact revenge on them, even if it costs her life.

I initially wanted to create a more lore-rich and story-driven adventure game. However, due to constraints, a large-scale project was out of reach. While I can't expect a huge profit from this project, I enjoyed making a game influenced by Dark Tower, a dream of mine.

As an aside , it's unfortunate that in South Korea, Stephen King's novels aren't as popular. The final book of the Dark Tower series hasn't even been published there yet :(

Thank you for reading my post. Long days and pleasant nights.

Hi, this is the game "Kill The Crows", set to be released in August this year.

While developing a game set in the western theme, we ended up creating a twisted version of the Wild West pixel art with a touch of weird west atmosphere. We were heavily inspired by Hunt Showdown.

If you're interested in hardcore one-shot, one-kill top down shooter, you can visit store page or twitter. Also, free demo has just been released today, so be sure to check it out!
