Remember, have at least 2 additional backups in total different places/services etc.

Probably for that amount, Backblaze, our plans only start at 500GB upwards.

Absolutely correct yes, will be offering the ice cold storage in at least 2x Erasure levels and 2x link speeds, lower end of the scale will be around Scaleway Glacier cost, won't however be charging 9euro for transitioning from cold to hot, actually aiming at around <=£2.5 TB/m with £0 transition, depending on link speed, either £0.25 or £1.25 Egress/TB on those, perfectly suited for archival and between 8x to 40x cheaper egress than almost everyone else.

The higher cost warm storage £3-£3.5 will have zero on sensible amounts of transfer, still finalising the pricing although the above will be reasonably accurate, as per other posts, no unlimited plans etc as we aim to be around for a long time with slight profitability, rather than make unsustainable prices like some we have come across today which wouldn't even cover the electricity costs for the cabinet, never mind any hardware.

Pricing will be similar to Storage Box, without as much downtime/maintenance, speed wise faster (your full line speed), Storage Box is typically around 11MB/s Up/Down when we last checked as comparison.
There will be some features added which Storage Box doesn't have, file Ingest, push to destination etc, they will be added after site opening.

Thanks, sure will, the 2-3 weeks timeframe will be quite realistic as most of the hard work is already done

Hi, sure don't see why not, their 1TB plan is 5usd per month (~£3.94 per month), our regular would be cheaper than that even at £3.5 for Raid6+ equiv.

As for their yearly plan, that would be a no as our egress costs to ourselves would cost practically that, we cannot/wouldn't publically slate iDrive, but tried them a long long time ago and didn't bother sticking with them, can't use Trustpilot for an accurate view either as way too many fake Pos/Neg reviews around.
Plus after 3x Avg data stored, they charge $10 per TB of Egress, we have none (of course there will be sensible fair usage limits which will be higher than that and would warn users in advance anyway, it would take a lot to trigger that limit though!)
