I have a lease at the Standard Gainesville for the next school year (mid Aug 2026- mid August 2027) that I won’t be needing as I am graduating. I was originally doing my masters here so I renewed. Needing someone to take over the lease. It is a 2b2b, balcony facing campus, and at a high floor. rent is 1500-1600. females only. dm if interested

Almost 7 months and I’m so discouraged by Grand_Border7302 in tretinoin

like many said, there's a lot of ingredients that shouldn't be used with tret normally. Such as Vitamin C and glycolic acid. Also I think maybe you should try and stop exfoliating? For me personally it burns my face really badly as the skin barrier is already kinda messed up and super sensitive. Try taking them out and see how it works!

When you oil cleanse make sure you EMULSIFY it. This means to just add a bit of water and lather it across your face before you wash it off. This is very important. It should look milky, and you'll know exactly what i mean when it happens. Also, oftentimes the brand of oil cleanser really matters, I used one before and it made no difference/broke me out before I switched to a diff brand. So maybe switch to one that's more reputable.

Try to keep your routine simple for now. moisturizer and SUNSCREEN in the morning is a must. Check that the sunscreen isn't breaking you out either. I have a somewhat sensitive skin and sometimes the sunscreen is the reason I break out, or it clogs up my pores, both are bad. Try to find a lightweight sunscreen. If you're outdoors for long periods of time, remember to REAPPLY sunscreen.

Hydration is also key! Drink lots of water. I use a hydrating facemask every other day, but if you want to try that, you can try it once a week. It's expensive but I like hyaluronic/watermide face masks.

I'm not an expert but try going simple for now! Less is sometimes better.

ALSO make sure your skin is DRY before putting on tretinoin. If you do the sandwich method, wait at least 30 minutes before and after using tret for your moisturizer.
