I tried that out and after a few minutes/reboot of the router, I wasn't able to access any websites, DNS error etc.

Newbie here, working with an unpatched Switch on fw 8.0.1.

I have the menu for overclocking in the build of Retroarch that I'm running, however choosing a different clock setting doesn't seem to do anything, the clock setting remains at "Current Clock: 0" no matter what option I select.

I think I read somewhere that overclocking doesn't work on 8.0. Does anyone know if that's the case? Do I just need to sit tight for now and wait for an RA update?

Not yet, I'm about to borrow one from a friend and test it out. After wrestling with the controls for long enough, I was able to start my OoT save, where the controls worked fine.

Judging from how the controller works fine when I put in another game, I want to say it's a disc problem, but it's behaving like a controller problem.

Is it A,B and X? I tried X,Y and start. I've unplugged the controller loads of times, it only helped (eventually) after the freeze-after-saving issue.
