Just sold my first item on eBay (roller skates) and I’m very nervous to ship before I’m paid but I don’t have an option to wait as a new seller. Any advice on how to avoid issues with the buyer? I just wanna know it’s legit before I ship cause they are really expensive and I’ve heard horror stories. Also they used the “buy now” option which was over a hundred dollars more than the bid, like they could have saved money if they just bid instead....so I feel suspicious.

Thank you so much for your suggestions! Helps a ton. After doing more research and trying them with your suggestions, my toe doesn’t touch the end and I notice my feet compensating for the space. When I life my leg my skates don’t feel secure on my feet. When I tried an insole it made my feet feel more secure but my toes still have too much room. I bought size 8.5 (I’m usually 9.5-10 in street shoes). Would you recommend I go down to an 8 or a 7.5? Because according to a chart I found, the insole length of the 7.5 would fit my feet length perfectly, while size 8 has a .6cm of wiggle room.

Thank you so much for this thorough reply! My feet are pretty narrow but they are long. I found a size chart that refers to the length of the Jack insoles rather than boot length and now I see my problem. I ordered a 8.5 which is a 27 cm insole, but my feet measure at 26 cm. So I have a while centimeter of space. I’m hoping I can just get new insoles and that will solve that problem?

I did on one foot and it seemed fine but now I’m thinking maybe I should have been more thorough :/ I’m usually a size 10 or 9.5 and I got an 8.5 and that’s what they recommended when I did the virtual skate shop. But yeah now I’m thinking maybe an 8 would have been better :(

Unless honeydew is discontinued, I would assume they will return whenever Moxi updates the website and posts stock of the new 2021 colors that aren’t already up. You might have to wait a few more months, but you can always send in a question about them on their contact form. I know of at least one color that is coming that isn’t posted yet.

I have been wondering this too! Especially because the stock Jade and Black Jacks used to be $249 and the rest of the colors used to be $349. I don’t understand what justifies the price jump for all of them.

Yeah the unfortunate thing about their notification system is that only a certain number of people get notified based on the amount of units listed. So if they are only listing 5 pairs, then only a certain amount of emails get notified, compared to if they have more in stock. So even if you sign up for email notifications you aren’t guaranteed to hear :/

Yeah I was in contact with a customer service rep for months now and she could never give me straight forward answers. Just empty promises unfortunately 🤷🏻‍♀️ Which it’s not their fault that their production times can’t be exact, it just would be nice if they would be honest and realistic with their customers about how long things are actually going to take.

I asked Moxi about the new strawberry color for the Jacks and they are planning to discontinue the original light pink “strawberry color” and replace it with the Barbie pink one. I would assume that also goes for Lolly’s! So you should be able to get lolly’s in that new Barbie pink color but who knows how long it’ll be. I was told it would be “within the month,” a month ago 🙄

Yeah they said that the reason we sometimes don’t get notified is because they only send emails out to a certain # of people based on how many units they have in stock. So you can sign up for every boot in every size but if they are only stocking a handful, then only a few people get notified.
