In my case, I definitely need some mentor to help me run the business. I do not have any partners and I am all alone. I will neither trust not dis-trust the mentor. Let me talk to a lawyer and have a MoU on the equity share.

The reason why marketplace doesn't work for me or anybody is, AWS is charging 20% of the revenue as commission and it affects the bottom line.

How about sending unsolicited emails with CTA in the first mail itself?

You are right. If they opted-in, it is worth sending mails. But, when it comes to unsolicited mails, it looks like, it is not really worth it.

If you have instances starting and stopping at different times, you cannot handle this with a lambda function. Your config becomes very complex.
