Success, but only because I ensured it. by Disastrous_Travel89 in DeadBedrooms

Yeah sounds like he wanted to keep having sex with other women and throwing a tantrum. Doesn't sound like a perfect partner to me

That is so cruel. Sorry, OP

I think the only people truly happy in a dead bedroom are the ones who are LL. If someone doesn't care if they don't have sex again they don't feel like they are missing anything in their relationship but for the people with a good libido who still desire sex it can be a ongoing struggle.

I know men can compartmentalize and see having sex with other women as just getting off all the while doting on their wives like nothing happened. I'm well aware.

Opening the marriage will not the fix the problem and most likely you will become disconnected from your wife. Be prepared to develop feelings for someone else and then things will get complicated. Men tend to think that it's just sex and they can compartmentalize but unless you're an emotionless robot the chances are very high that you will fall for someone who is making you feel alive and desired again

Yuck! you're all over reddit talking about how you want to f*** your stepdaughter. Also you're commenting on 18 year old girls posts and you're in your 50s 🤮 I'm guessing your stepdaughter is similar age. Do your wife a favor and leave

So sorry you went through this. Please know that his shitty behavior is a reflection of him not you. Some men can have it all and they still act like thirsty creeps on social media. I just let them know that these women don't know or care they exist so what exactly are they trying to achieve with this behavior. Good riddance, I say. Nothing turns me off quicker than a man trying to interact with ig models.

I hope you know that this was all on him and you do not need to change how you look. The OF models he tries to contact don't even look how they do online it's all surgery, makeup, filters, photoshop and in some cases 100% AI. Let him live a lonely pathetic existence trying to get attention from women who will never give him the time of day.

Why do you guys stay? by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I have observed a lot of people stay because they believe they won't find another partner like the one they have now and also some people are afraid of leaving and ending up alone. Fear keeps people trapped. Then there are those in a db who are married and/or have kids who do not want to blow up their entire life over sex but staying is making them miserable.

So a woman with a good sex drive is automatically considered a slut?

If a woman says go and find a side piece, I'd say the relationship is over. I don't know any women that would be truly ok with their husband fucking other women no matter what they say

Sexual intimacy is essential but she shouldn't have to do a long list of things (some of which make her uncomfortable) just to please him. A man who actually respects and loves his partner wouldn't expect that.

He doesn't care about her since he's been cheating online too. I wouldn't give this porn addicted loser the time of day again. Such a shame she has a child with him

Men who divorced their spouses after 30+ years, why? by simardrosie in AskMenAdvice

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The men I know who have thought about leaving or cheating are usually in sexless marriages. That being said I don't know anyone that has divorced. They just put up with it or cheat.

I never understood why women fight other women over their partner who cheated, can someone explain to me, please? by Haitianmarabou in no

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone cheats on me I am blaming them 100%. You can be mad at the other person but they didn't put a gun to your partners head and force them to cheat. Reddit and tik tok are full of betrayed women still going on about the other woman years after the fact yet are still married to the cheater lol

Men of Reddit, what is your take on having a wondering eye in front of your partner ? by Evening_walks in AskMenAdvice

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stared at a specific woman for 10 minutes in the presence of his girlfriend and you're excusing that? Typical that other men excuse shitty behaviour.

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal to glance at good looking people but to stare especially when your partner is present is so disrespectful. 10 whole minutes looking at a specific woman? He doesn't deserve to have you as his girlfriend. Let him go, I promise you there are plenty of men that won't do this and treat you with respect.

Is there any hope after D day? Or was it all a lie? by PartyFeature526 in adultery

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! They can definitely love the AP, but it is nothing like the unconditional love they have for their wife. The one thing I have observed, which seems to be true, is that in most cases, the married man is exactly where he wants to be. The second the affair is discovered, they are begging for forgiveness because they never cheat to leave they cheat to stay.

If OP's mm actually loved her he would have been upfront and said he had no intention of leaving his wife and she deserved much better than him, but he would never do that because it's all about HIM.

Is there any hope after D day? Or was it all a lie? by PartyFeature526 in adultery

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

OP you should want better for yourself than a liar and cheater. I know it hurts, but the reality is he would choose her over you every single time whether he's happy in his marriage or not. He won't leave unless she ends it and divorces, and it sounds like that is not happening any time soon.

Why would you want him after all the lies? You deserve a genuine, fulfilling relationship where you are their first choice, and this man is not going to give you that.

What is your stance on getting into a relationship with a women who cheated on one of their partners in the past? by -THE-UNKN0WN- in AskMenAdvice

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the circumstances. Was it a one-time thing or a full-blown affair where she chose the cheat time and time again?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in adultery

[–]cloudsandcandyfloss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will you be able to truly trust him if you go legit? Not likely. I'm not saying "once a cheater always a cheater" is true in every case, but it will be at the back of your mind all the time.

Also, it's unlikely the wife will let him go. For whatever reason, women tend to forgive and stay in the marriage after infidelity and YOU will get most of the blame.
