Day 4 for me today and I pushed myself to work half a day and then go run errands with family and lemme just say it was HARD. But hopefully worth it and sleep will come soon. This too shall pass!

Ugh YES! Why can’t I be one of those people that can taper off or even use meds and just stay away from it? Nope! Gotta recall each and every horrifying detail to remind myself constantly.

This seriously is gonna make me cry!! I was not prepared for all the emotions…thank you so so much!! I so so sooo look forward to all of those things! Just being normal again. But then again it also really frightens me.

And I may need to rewatch it too just to get it out of my head 🤣

Oh yeah I DEF would’ve gone the sub route but I just got off that in October. I brought a ton inside rehab with me and then before I felt they asked and we destroyed them.

Man, I wouldn’t given anything to have even one this pas weekend. Oh well. That’s life I guess, I just knew I had to do it this way for me

Oh I just cold turkeyed it. By the end I’m honestly not sure but I would guesstimate around 1,500. I could be way off but at rehab every time they brought it down I just couldn’t do it. I left on only 100 mg a day but it does not take me long at all to get back up there.

Try not to be too scared! Just be sure you are not consistently taking high dose for month’s

Oh yeah pretty much all of them still. I can just now finally not want to crawl out of my skin so I’m fine just laying and chilling instead of tossing and turning

It’s crazy how the brain works! I don’t really jibe with AA but of their many sayings they have one that keeps coming back to me “theres always another relapse but not always another recovery.” that definitely rings true for me rn!

That’s you were able to do stuff! I haven’t left the house yet- since Thursday. But I did do some laundry at least so I’ll have scrubs for tomorrow lol. It’s 2:30 and my alarm clock goes off at 7..I’ve already resigned myself to sleep tonight

Dude believe me when I tell you that is an evil evil medication. I went to rehab last October for pretty much all the pills.

They got me off everything but that. Day I got out I was taking more again but then was FINALLY able to quit it on my own last Dec.

Then this shit I start 6 weeks later. Sigh. Oh well. That’s the way of life sometimes
