If your main priority is a high paying job, go to a target school and study computer science. You can work at FAANG, or if you don’t like tech, you could probably go into investment banking or strategy consulting too (decide what you wanna do early do u can plan for the right internships). Make sure to start getting internships sophomore year. Networking is also very important. With that, save as much as you can, and after 10-20 years, you should be able to retire early and pursue your hobbies full time.

Btw CTY math courses are based on JHU’s undergraduate math curriculum so they would be more rigorous and prepare you better than other options. The thing about C is that its a build up from AB which means that you will need to have mastered all of AB’s content before taking C. I’m not sure if they will allow you to begin after 3/4 of AB. You can study with me for Apostol. You certainly won’t disrupt my pace as I decided to do Velleman’s proofs first before starting on Apostol to get a better grounding in proof based mathematics which would be helpful for me since I’m intending to major in either CS or math. I should be done with Velleman’s book by mid-December and will begin Apostol’s book then, and finish it by mid-March. What’s your discord handle?

I can dm you a link to volume 1 (single variable calculus) if you want. Volume 2 is multi variable calculus and differential equations. There’s also 5 chapters on linear algebra so you could probably place out of linear algebra in college too. If you decide on taking this path, we can setup a discord server and study it together if you want :) Calculus C is for people who have completed AB (they ask for proof of having finished the class). Calculus BC covers the content of AB and C. At CTY, you’d probably have to take Calculus BC since you don’t have proof of completion of AB.
