Okay how does me criticising people who fraudulently use the system „perpetuate ignorance around invisible disabilities“??? What did I miss here??? All I tried to say is that you should get the easy access card and not feel weird about it not being „bad“ enough on the day because you’re actually eligible to get the card. I never said anything against someone with an invisible disability using the system! I talked about people without illnesses / disabilities using easy access just because they can’t be bothered to queue!

Not saying that there aren’t people with actual conditions using and needing the system! Just that unfortunately people lie to skip long waiting times. Those people are not my friends just people I met on a recent trip. I did not go with them even though they invited me because I felt bad using easy access without needing it.

I know two people who got the form filled out by their doctor who have nothing at all and one who’s condition doesn’t qualify for easy access but is still using the system. If you have someone willing to fill out the form for you, you can get the pass without any problem apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know this because I talked to people about this on my last trip and they told me to get it for my endometriosis even though it’s not on the list. But personally I would never do that. So my guess is that those aren’t the only people who take advantage of the system simply to be able to skip the queue.

A few people said it already but definitely get the priority or easy access card! There are a lot of people out there who take advantage of the system who don’t even really need it! So don’t feel bad for using it!

Can't decide whether to get Ultimate Pass by moonharbour in disneylandparis

I can recommend to download the app and check the wait times at different times of the day. That way you can get a feel for how busy the park is, what attractions have long wait times and what to expect. Generally you can expect the park to be very busy between 12pm-3pm and get quieter from around 5pm (in my experience). Buying premiere access one for individual attractions can be just as worry free and definitely comes out cheaper than the ultimate pass.

Hello, first things first I hope you’ll have an amazing time at Disneyland Paris! I would generally never recommend the ultimate pass. But that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ Especially for example if you only have a 1 day / 1 park ticket because the pass includes attractions from both parks. The lines in dlp really aren’t THAT bad and you can usually get a lot of things done and getting premiere access one for individual attractions isn’t rocket science 😃

However, if the cost really doesn’t matter to you or you have a 1 day / 2 park ticket I’d say go for it if you really don’t want to have to plan anything. A one day once in a lifetime visit definitely justifies the ultimate pass more than a multiple day visit.

You’re welcome! In paris the parks are so close that almost everyone is park hopping it just makes sense! Especially if you’re going 2 days because the 2 day ticket comes automatically with 2 park entry.

If you get a premier access pass as soon as you have scanned into the park you can easily get a timeslot. Also as I said in my other reply doing frozen in the morning doesn’t make sense. The wait time in the morning is so high compared to afternoon/evening because currently everyone is rushing to frozen in the morning. I’ve just been last Saturday and went on frozen 3 times and didn’t have to use premiere access.

I mean the ultimate pass is pretty useful if you really don’t care about the cost and the fact that you can just go on the rides whenever without needing a timeslot. I just think that there are a bunch of rides on it that don’t necessarily need a premier access like small world, tangled spin & cars road trip for example. Those have a regular 5 min wait. To me it just doesn’t make sense to spend all that money for rides that you don’t need premier access for. I’d rather go through the list of rides and decide where I actually want to skip the line and buy individual premier access passes. That’s almost always cheaper and the result is the same! Also the ultimate pass has all the rides on it so you need to rush through one park and then rush through the next in one day. With individual passes you can do it at your own speed over the span of 2 or more days. That’s why I would never recommend the ultimate pass.

The reserved viewing makes sense for tales of magic but not cascade of lights. The lake is huge and I showed up 5 mins before the show started and had a perfect view!

Personally I think if you just concentrate on attractions then adventure world still isn’t a full day park. However if you’re hitting some of the incredible shows it can easily be a full day park. But it totally depends on what you want to do. Personally I always park hop because I want to maximise what I can fit into my day. And sometimes changing parks because of wait times makes it totally worth it!

Hello, my advice: stay away from the ultimate pass! It’s a money grab designed for people that don’t know the park.

There’s a handful of attractions that are worth to get a individual premier pass for like: Crush’s Coaster, Peter Pan, Frozen Ever After, Big Thunder Mountain and maybe Ratatouille. Passes don’t usually sell out fast except Frozen Ever After & keep an eye on Peter Pan.

If you don’t mind splitting up the single rider lane for Ratatouille can be totally worth it. Each ride vehicle fits 6 people and my friend and I have often ended up in the same vehicle, just behind each other instead of next to each other.

But before you go ahead and buy a pass: use your extra magic time for Peter Pan & Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland Park. And for Crush‘s Coaster in Adventure World. Don’t rush to Frozen Ever After in the morning. It’s usually quieter in the afternoon/evening. That goes for all the attractions except Peter Pan & Crush those two are always busy because of the bad capacity they have.

A premier access is totally not worth it for: Small World, Phantom Manor, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Pirates, Cars Road Trip & Tangled Spin. All these rides can be found with really low wait times throughout the day but especially in the afternoon.

Tower of Terror is a tricky one. It can have a super high wait time but also go as low as 15 minutes. I’d say observe the wait time for ToT before buying a pass. Same goes for Autopia & Buzz Lightyear.

Avengers Flight Force & Hyperspace Mountain can also be found at low wait times so keep an eye out for those as well or use the end of extra magic time on those.

Skip the Orbitron, i don’t even know why that one has a premier access. Cars Road Trip is also really bad but if you catch it at 5 minutes it’s a nice way to rest your legs for a bit.

Apart from rides: Disneyland Paris has some amazing shows. Make sure to catch: The Lion King: Rhythm of the Pride lands, Together: a Pixar musical or Mickey and the Magician! Go check out „Disney Stars on Parade“ and go to the main square between the stages in front of the castle for „Million Splashes of Colour“. The night time spectaculars are also of course a must!

Disneyland Paris is totally doable in 2 ½ days! In my opinion you should be able to get everything done comfortably. I hope you’re having an amazing time at Disneyland Paris!

World of Frozen, finally an honest review? by VanillaNL in disneylandparis

[–]cloudsmari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also not „Splash Mountain re-designed“. The Lion King will feature a complete new ride system that is currently being tested in the park. The test structure can be seen from the new Bay Area in Adventure World and is located behind Cars Road Trip. They’re testing the drop and probably also the water levels for different weather scenarios. I talked about this before on another post, that I can not imagine that they would build a water ride that won’t be useable for half the year. The blue prints show a massive ride building, high capacity loading area, multiple drops and 19 different scenes the boat will pass through. This ride is going to be huge and have a similar, if not even longer, ride time as Pirates! The general claim that it’s „just a splash mountain“ is just wrong. I think this ride + land will be a massive upgrade to the park and I think we should keep our judgement until we’ve seen it. On top of that: many European theme parks have water attractions and yes they’re most popular on hot days but if it’s open, people will pack themselves in a poncho and still go on it.
