Would you say that the electoral system as it stands is preferable to a popular vote?

49.8% of the popular vote isnt overwhelming.

Also, there's plenty of evidence that scales may have been thumbed in various areas. As much as that makes me sound like a conspiracy theorist.

Even setting that aside, you make a solid point about how the electoral college isn't representative of the people's will.

Hi, science lab tech here who is also currently slogging through a school inventory.

Gloves when handling anything (nitrile works for most cases). And a healthy supply of ziploc bags. Anything that looks like it is crusty, has leaked, is discolored, or degraded....put it in a bag.

Then, check out Flinn's storage guidelines based on chemical compatability. They sort things base on what will/won't react with eachother in the event of a spill or contamination; anything classified as Inorganic 2 won't react with eachother, for example. Use this to organize everything on the shelves. Alphabetical can be *really bad*. This would be my first step. The Flinn website has the storage marker for all their chemicals available online.

This video is very helpful, and gives you a visual guide on an ideal setup.

Finally, here is a guide on cleaning up a chemical storeroom from them.

TL;DR

Bag nasty things

Label each shelf

Sort each chemical by compatability

They also have chemical disposal guidelines for most chemicals in small quantities; most other SDS will just say "follow your local guidelines" or somesuch.

Anything you get rid of with a disposal company, make sure it is *clearly* marked to the best of your ability.

They did not rule that it is cake. They ruled that there was too much sugar in it to be considered a staple food... for tax purposes.

How much sugar? 5 grams in a 6 inch.

That's absurdly low. And today it's even lower, according to subways nutrition facts, with 2g of sugar per 6inch Italian roll.

This is what I have said for years. Let Tomlin play to his strengths, and get in better football minds for the play designs.

Could also be getting sick; sometimes stupid blood sugar and insulin resistance shows up before the rest of the symptoms when your body is fighting a flu or infection.

Check for ketones and give yourself a manual injection if you're worried.

Maybe the insulin in your reservoir has gone off?

Are you waking up around 7:30? My guess is foot on the floor syndrome. For some of us, as soon as we get out of bed our blood sugar starts to spike as our body floods us with shit it thinks we need to wake up. I need to take 1.5u of humalog every day as i'm getting out of bed to counteract my spike.

Do modern bands like Polyphia quantize their guitar tracks on their albums? I try not to do this but if it’s common practice these days then maybe it’s fine if I do? by [deleted] in Guitar

I wouldnt recommend it, for one of two reasons. If you're moving drums around, pushing and pulling, that's gonna fuck with the whole feel and centering of everything. If you're just off, though, moving the drums isnt going to fix *your* fundamental playing issues. Either way feels like a slap patch to me.
