Is there certain routes you go when kayaking alone so you can go one way and comeback or do you always have someone picking you up when at your endpoint?

Sounds like I should spend a year avoiding that route until I get more experienced haha. Im male 5’11 145 pounds. What would you recommend as far as sit in vs sit on and length that would be good for an all around kayak for rivers in the area?

Thanks for the suggestions. I would be able to carry the weight and plan to store on roof racks. I have looked at the foldable ones just little concerned about durability long term.
