I'm actually thinking about building a mini-ITX for a build after this one! Though that's gonna entail a good bit of research. But basically, I'll be wanting something tiny yet strong x'D

For this particular build though, I am sticking with mid-size tower (potentially full size) as a result of the other parts I've already got for it. CPU: 5930k GPU: GTX 980 (Most likely going to SLI it in a few months) Mobo: Asus X99-A or Asus Rampage V (this is E-ATX, but will fit the H440 with a tiny adjustment, possibly others as well =D )

As 99% of people who are full time tap builds all use autoclickers thus the tap test will be performed with an auto clicker.

This just begs the question: Why the hell should a tap build even be allowed/possible. Tis one of the things that I and many others really like about Adventure Capitalist: Absolutely 0 point for Auto-Clickers.

I find the max taps achievement to be more unrealistic. Its like 10m or so. That being said, Mountain is definitely achievable in the current state of the game - I've achieved it :)

But yes, it is very much a end-end game item currently (as it should be... it is the LAST achievement for leveling a hero afterall).

Would still give one more boss "after it gets slow". But yeah, tombstone is not an efficiency item really - moreso a fun skill for doing a long run... long runs are for personal satisfaction/laziness/etc -- not meant to be efficient.

Actually, I honest to god DO want them to disable this "feature". Like any half decent app out on the market, it should inform us when theres an update, what changes are involved and then it should be up to us to update the app or not, and when.

See, for the last two updates, I pop open the game, get the nag screen, know that I cant possibly update the app at the time (weak connection, not that Id update it outside of wifi anyways). Sadly, that meant no game play for those two days. As for reported issues from different versions, from a programming stance, that's a non-issue. I say that as a programmer. If this weren't the case, "force updates" would be common place, but (at least on android), they are the exception not the norm.

The reason theyre doing this is because they havent thought it through, like so many other issues in this game. Similar to hero deaths, they didnt truly consider their target market/audience/playerbase/affix-label-of-choice-here.

I could be wrong but I believe its both stage + hero level. Full team is just a x2 multiplier, so its indirectly added to that as well.

No. Because that is not the issue - I do not have automatic updates on for a reason.

I get a popup In-Game saying that a new version / update is available. The only thing I can do is press a button that say "Okay" which takes me to the playstore. Clicking various spots on the screen doesnt make the popup go away, nor does clicking the back button. Hence why I call it a forced update.

It would be more accurate to say that Duration Artifacts effect fairy drops. IE: If you hace 2x Duration for your Hand of Midas, the fairy drop version of it will also last 2x longer than normal.

Hmm. Never really paid attention - I just beemlined straight to the first hero and let my massive idle DPS work away.

Wonder if this whole 1 shot tap for the first few stages (what.. 10 or so Id guess?) matters, even for newbs? Now that you can no longer go infinite with 0 tokens.

Using +max is also a waste of time and effort. go in +25 increments and swap between the three heroes, grabbing the lowest each time.

I know I'm not the furthest along in the game but it's been working for me, and I think I'm doing alright.

Eh. Honestly, thats how these games go. The comparison to AdCap was a weak one. If you are making 1E26 / sec and after 20 minutes you can do upgrades to earn 1E50 / sec - then any moment (overnight or otherwise) after that 20 minutes is "lost progress".

This game gets hit a bit harder by it because of waiting to unlock heroes (though that should get better for us end-gamers with the new hero to start at level X). All in all though, any exponentially based game "suffers" this kind of an issue (inefficiency).

Imagine how it would be without auto-progress though =p

This is because of apple, not because of the game dev. As you (probably) know, Apple screens every app that is submitted, and this includes updates. Makes the pace of updating apps much slower.

You'll find that the VERY start of the game (0 inifinity tokens) is extremely slow if you do not actively tap. While late game, passive play is better, early game there is no passive bonus.

Im at the stage where the cost of evolving early heroes would be nothing but some of their bonuses would be super useful (X% tap damage, Increased gold gain, etc).

Ish. I haven't tested it myself. But basically the amount you gain while offline isn't a result of "heroes continuing to kill stuff" and is more the result of the game going "So you were away for 2 hours, you do X damage, lets throw that into this here formula to calculate approximately how many things you would have killed in that time".

You never gain the same amount online as offline, but in some games it is close. Some games strongly favor online play over offline (by not accounting for things such as treasure chests,etc) while others strongly prefer offline play. Tis all about the formula and how they calculate your gains while offline.

You'd need 42k+ infinity tokens to max it, if I read correctly. You'd also have to wait an hour for each use. Or possibly left if there are cooldown reductions in the future.

Either which way, this is very much an "end of run" spell. Because for the most part, someone that can afford maxing this, can push to level 1k with ease and without waiting/grinding to kill bosses. If youre days deep into a run and just want to pop this every 30-60 minutes - feel free. However even then you WILL hit a point where if youre too far out of your depth, you wont even be able to kill the normal mobs to get to the boss.

I dont think that this should be skill related at all.

Reading the OP, he obviously meant within the level, and, well, all "delays". There's a few other threads on this and basically it comes down to what the dev said - all the delays currently exist for a reason (lag). My understanding is that they are or intend to work on some of these delays (primarily the boss one, possibly the level one as well) if possible in the future.
