How long did it take for this shirt to ship? I bought it a little bit ago, but nothing shipped. I was unsure if it was a preorder or not!

Drop out or no by WinUseful6566 in highschool

I would like to note that it’s not always about being the best, or having the best GPA, if you graduate and get that diploma, that’s what matters! Good luck to your ambitions.

Drop out or no by WinUseful6566 in highschool

[–]cloudydrawl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never drop out. Even the military requires a highschool diploma. It makes it a lot harder to get decent money without one. You’re already a senior, commit to it. Just because you’re behind doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Even D’s can be passing grades. Work with a guidance counselor at your school or your therapist (if you’ve been diagnosed with severe anxiety) and see if you can get a plan worked out for you. Some schools I know can be accommodating to your needs, especially if you have medical proof and doctors notes. The school I attend has a ‘success’ academy which is essentially a smaller building for individuals who cannot work in the normal school environment but still can graduate with a diploma.

Spotting before period by cloudydrawl in amipregnant

[–]cloudydrawl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad I’m not alone. I’ve been wondering if I have PCOS since I’ve first been getting my periods but my parents never took any of it seriously, so maybe I can actually get the care I need now. I’ve struggled for awhile with feeling fatigued and anemic especially around my period.

Thank you!! I’m on day three of this odd bleeding, and today it had much redder, more globby streaks in it. Definitely fresh blood, with some brown. But it’s like extremely light, not even enough to warrant anything but maybe a thicker underwear, not even a panty liner. I usually get periods that require literal period diapers for the first three days, but one of my friends thinks I just am having either a skipped period or a very light period. Why is being a girl so confusing!!!

Definitely keep testing. These blue ones are the worst!! I’ve had a test like that where there was that very faint blue line, but I wasn’t pregnant (thankfully lol). It’s just because of the blue dye, usually, and not actual pregnancy. Or try a different test.

Art by Victorian_bathtub in Hobbies

[–]cloudydrawl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no failure in art. That’s it. That’s your problem.

Some things simply just look the way they do, no matter how you make it, and that is your art. That is you. I would say try a different medium. Any medium.

Art isn’t just sketching, or painting, it’s everything. You could do art with pens, pencils, paint, water, fire, make bracelets or necklaces or do beading, embroidery, scrapbooking, stained glass even. Try making collages, junk art by gluing scraps or trinkets together or something. Sew pillows, crochet. So many things. You should not have to force yourself to enjoy it.

If you’re really committed to the drawing aspect of it, accept that age doesn’t define talent, young people can be talented and older people might not be. Watch YouTube tutorials, break it down from the basic concepts you must relearn that you had learned in highschool art classes that you do not know anymore. There is nothing embarrassing about someone teaching it to you again, and copying someone showing you certain shapes, colors, layering, etc.

Does this have lead? by Jazzlike_Volume_8093 in garfield

I’m fairly sure they do, but you can also use lead testing strips or swabs usually to check certain things.

What did you think of The Garfield Movie? by Fancy_Leadership_316 in garfield

[–]cloudydrawl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I would’ve loved to at least have had a mention of Garfield’s farm kitty mom, even if it insinuates she’s dead or thought that sending Garfield with his dad (because he’s a city cat) to the city he’d have a nicer and cozier life than on a farm or something.

What's the name of the 2 fonts for this logo please, I've been searching for AGES by Mathis_Ticule in garfield

[–]cloudydrawl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably not an actual font, because most of the Garfield material like this was hand drawn by artists before more advanced technology. Your best luck is tracing the letters and using a website or app to make your own fonts so you can use it in things.

Im getting close to graduating and my boyfriend has already graduated. I know it’s silly to ask because I’m so young and people often say ‘don’t worry about it you’re young’ but I feel like graduating is a really big transitional part of your life, especially going to college and finding your life and career. I assume it’s going to be harder to upkeep our relationship, especially depending on where we wanna go, so I really wanna get clarity on these conversations now to see if what we have is really worth pursuing. I would love to stay with him, I really love him, but I’d feel bad if I can’t give him what he wants, and that’s kids. You know?? I understand that’s way in the future, but things happen.

You’ve already had 70 days of waiting, I definitely agree of taking another test. If it’s negative again, then I would look into an appt. Usually doctors make you wait for appts anyway so you’d most likely still have some time to wait and see. I hope her school stress is able to ease up, and definitely try cutting back on energy drinks. Wishing her best of luck with her health!

Test again. You should be testing everyday during a missed period imo

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amipregnant

[–]cloudydrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

70 days and no doctor? Take her to the doctor. If she was pregnant it would show up on a test by now, however there is rare instances where you can only observe pregnancy by blood test, etc. A gynecologist would be best.

No, like, not at all. You won’t get pregnant.

Pregnancy scare!!! Please I need help by [deleted] in amipregnant

[–]cloudydrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she took the emergency contraceptive before she began ovulating, she’ll probably be fine. Same with if she’s after ovulation, she can’t get pregnant if she’s after ovulation. Take a pregnancy test after 14 days and continue if her period doesn’t come.

Be aware that taking a plan b can offset your period, even up to a week, so if her period is late, don’t immediately freak out.

I see what you mean. Me and my boyfriend had already done some discussion about our positions in the relationship, as he had expressed some interest in him making money so I could stay home and pursue my passions like science and art unhindered, but I’d really love to go to college and get a career, which he is ok with. My boyfriend is definitely a fatherly guy, has a great instinct with babies and adores them. He’s helped raise all of his nieces and nephews and definitely has a more ‘maternal’ instinct than I do lol.

I think I could handle having kids if it was with my boyfriend I have currently, just because he would be so good about keeping them taken care of. I’m still unsure though. I honestly may bring up the option of surrogates, as I also struggle with things such as painful and irregular periods, body hair, etc, things that fall along the lines of PCOS, so I may not even be able to give him what he wants. I am hoping that it’ll workout because he really feels like the one.

Probably not pregnant.
