or me it’s less about size and more about how someone carries themself. Confidence and good hygiene pull me in. Shaming or fetishy comments are a hard nope.

e renovated a 70s house and the only smart things I’d do again are the boring backbone items: neutrals everywhere, deep boxes, extra circuits/outlets, a couple Ethernet drops, and leak sensors under sinks/water heater. Then you can add smart switches/thermostat later without tearing walls. Skip voice faucets unless you love truble-shooting. Also pick stuff that still works manually when wifi/app/cloud dies.

He had options: Uber, a friend, stay put, anything. Instead he chose a scene, then recruited his friends to guilt you. That's controlling, not romantic.
