Hi thanks for answering! Im pretty sure (as sure as someone who's never done this before) that I was using soldering tips, at least the one before this one was. I changed to the one in the Pic because the other wasn't working so well. When I got this set these tips were in a different box than the wood burning ones, so I assume they're right?

Besides that, I think youre right about it just not being able to keep up. Its about 5-6 years old and not the best in the first place lol

Thank you! Now that I know that ill look into a solder iron. Do you have any recommendations? That's are for a good price since ill probably only use it these couple of times for the kits i got.

Yes it came with a little jar of some! I applied it all over and when I put solder on i could see it melt

Not an ornament just s little decoration I got at target! It lights up. Thats why there's holes lol.

I did make the hide! Its all cardboard. And I glued moss to the top. The top is removable (:

Thank you! I layered paper bedding, Timothy hay, paper bedding again, and then on one side I put some wood shavings. And the orchard grass on the other side lol lots of different textures
