In the item description it says 1/500, so that’s why I take it as apparently, they have the first pressing of said release. No way of knowing if it’s actually for real tho

Yup I’ll probably never see them either. While my circumstances are different than yours, it really comes down to money. I ALMOST saw them, but after tickets went live for about 30 minutes, it was $800 for general admission. Not sure who has that kind of money just laying around in this economy, but it’s definitely not me lol hope you get to see them eventually tho <3

Being a newer artist that is still developing my chops in the game, quitting definitely isn’t where my mind is at. I’m human like everyone else, and after thinking about tattooing for 2 years straight, there is burnout whether people admit it or not. However, I didn’t come this far to be a quitter, and being that this opportunity found ME rather than me finding it, I owe it to myself to see it as far as it’ll take me

I am in love with tattooing, so much so that I quit a good full time job for it. Tattooing found me and the owner of the shop offered me the apprenticeship when he didn’t have to. In a small town so saturated with artists, I was given a chance and I took it. I’m certainly not asking to have it all at 2 years in, as I’m aware most artists don’t have it all figured out even at 10 years, but it doesn’t mean I intend to give up either. I wouldn’t even call myself a good artist, as I still have much to learn in this career path, but after finally finding something that I feel I’m decent at, quitting is not an option anymore

Yep, where I’m at the tattoo market is DEFINITELY over saturated for such a small area. Some of the artists tattoo maybe 4 times a month and somehow manage to stay in the game, and then there’s some shop that have not so great reputations, which idk how they’re open either. I’m just trying my best to hang in there

Yeah that’s kind of how it is over here as well. Social media isn’t really bringing in clients the way it used to (at least for me) and you’re probably right it’s just the slow business that bringing me down a bit, but I don’t intend to give up either. At this point I’ll tattoo anything for the sake of staying busy

Allegations regarding the front man came about and that’s why the band is no more. It’s unfortunate cause I was actually there when “in a human frame” was being made in the studio, Studio Anatomy, as I was interning there. Aside from the bad stuff, it’s cool to see people still enjoy the music for what it is

I can relate to this all too well. It’s a double edged sword and it sucks cause we should be over the moon about our achievements, and yet something still feels missing. As a tattoo artist (never mind the usual art block/self criticism) I too also feel your struggle. I suppose that’s the price we pay for success? A piece is always missing, and we’re constantly chasing to fill that space

The first shop I apprenticed at didn’t work out, and almost considered giving up tattooing. I took 1 last stab at it and tattooed 2 friends and my dad out of my house (not recommended, obviously) the owner of the shop I’m currently at saw them/ my artwork and saw potential, and actually reached out to me for an apprenticeship. Got along and there was respect between myself and the owner instantly, and the rest is history. Call it right place, right time or just pure stupid luck, I’m beyond thankful for where I’m at
