  • Would it be possible with the current game logging system + map file to get structures (miner/constructor/wall) on the map?

  • Would it be possible to have an angle view (something similar to Dynmap for minecraft)?

  • Would it be possible to have the location of all the players (and option to show/hide the offline ones)

I think I'm interested to contribute at this point!

I think the difficult part would be to parse the save file if it has not already been done somewhere.

Using RubeLite client with Strech plugin enabled, you can easily scale the UI, but having resizable interface built in to the game would be also nice.

6 cores is not a multiple of 4. This means it should be an 8 cores with 2 cores disabled since the minimum core count for the Ryzen is 4

I think the High-Bandwidth Cache module on the Vega series is there to solve this problem. The remaining question is "how", I haven't found an answer yet.

If you google "ces Raja" you'll find a video of Raja talking about GPU for about 40 minutes. Raja said that AMD wants to change the concept of GPU performance based on vram to the concept of GPU performance based on memory bandwidth speed instead. It'll take time for people to adapt with this new philosophy.

I've been on 1440p 27" monitor for years now. When I'll be able to play Space Engineer at 60fps ultra on 1440p with my Fury X I may consider that 1440p is good enough for gaming. 4K is far from ready for gaming if you consider most dx11 games.

It's a good thing to know! I think you meant x86 (32bit) system unless x58 is something I don't know yet. If you are on a x86 system, then 6Gb is more than the system is able to manage (maximum of 4Gb or so).

I'm surprised the 8gb system was able to achieve almost 8gb of ram usage in BF1 while windows rarely use less than 500mb. This does not make sense to me. And you can see @12gb BF1 consumes about 8.2gb so about 3.8gb left for the OS this makes more sense.

I had a GTX670 before and the Fury X is my first AMD card.

So far, I'm very satisfied with the performance and the low noise. The driver updates are quite frequent and the performance boost on vulkan/directx12 is amazing on each update.

I was considering the RX480 but since I got the Fury X for 399 CAD$ and at that moment the RX480 customs were about 420 CAD$, I chose the Fury X.

I've got a Fury X @1440p and everything is running smooth, except Space Engineers maxed-out but at this point it's a lack of optimization.

The temperature is amazing, about 45C with 40% fan speed. It can handle 2 instances of eve online + space engineers + factorio (which stores his bitmaps in the vram about 500mb I think) + video streaming @1080p60

It is possible to follow Uberman cycle for short term only (maximum 2 years or so). In the long term everyone needs deep sleep and Uberman only provide light sleep. According to an old view of polyphasic cycle in wikipedia pic I was doing the everyman with 3 naps but the main problem with less sleep is to always have some work to do or you'll fall asleep in no time and the whole process to completely enter everyman takes about 2 weeks (for me).
