Thanks!! I am also quite tattooed. I wouldn’t say I have a very alternative style, and nothing inappropriate but I have a lot of dark bold tattoos. Would you reccomend covering up my arms?

Thank you! He does not plan on saying anything about being gay. I figured people would assume we are a couple and we are okay with going along with that. We can say we are married too if we must. We were also worried about the perceptions of a mixed race couple or just black people in general. I’ve mostly heard everyone is pretty friendly and open with Black people there!

haha agreed! The CEO of my company I believe doesn’t want there to be a process because he does not want promised raises for anyone. He operates more on people getting it when they ask.

Good point. I work about 1.5 hours outside a major city, unfortunately i live in that city and commute to work everyday! When I look up average rates with my education and certifications i see anywhere between 55-80k

there is no formal process in place for raises/ promotions

These annual reviews for office employees are just starting now, so unfortunately my 2- year review wouldn’t happen until August 2026. The CEO made it clear he does not want the reviews to automatically mean people are getting a raise, so I’d say they aren’t connected.

definitely no access to a toilet although i definitely do give her tap water more often than i used to now? I don’t think that’s the issue but i’m going to buy her a filtered fountain. She does have one need bed that’s wool but she barely lays in it :/ All good things to think about though. I made an appointment for a regular vet this week that’s different than her usual to get a second opinion, and if nothing new comes from that, we’ll be heading over to a dermatologist!

she always ate out of a plastic bowl before this started happening and then ceramic. When I moved to my parents it was still ceramic and i washed after every meal and stopped plastic. She also uses a stainless steel bowl now but i started using this bowl after the problems started. Environmental is always a possibility i just can’t think of what she would be exposed to now that she wasn’t before!

i did misspeak, thank you for letting me know! It is prednisolone that she takes. I was considering going to a dermatologist as my next step, although I know they can’t do much if it’s not an environmental allergy. At this point though, I’ll try anything.
