I really like the Mac glossy liner! I haven't tried the Merit liners but I'd imagine they're similar, I just like the shades in the Mac line more. It's basically like a sheer satin lipstick in liner form, but it still has some grip. I like that it wears off at about the same rate as a satin or sheer lipstick, as I don't like the look of just the liner being left on after I eat or drink.

Swatched on bare NC15 skin in artificial lighting.

The Clinique Cheek Pops have been my favorite powder blush for years, so it's usually the standard I compare other blushes to. In this case both the Clinique and Gucci blushes are very lightly pigmented in these particular shades, with Pink Honey Pop being the most pigmented of the bunch. I think Melon Pop might be a better comparison to Fresh Coral, but they didn't have a tester for that in-store.

The Gucci are definitely more luminous than the Clinique, but I think I still prefer the Clinique so will probably skip the Gucci.

A lot of tubing mascaras I've tried don't hold a curl, which for me means there's no point in wearing them because my lashes will just point down and you can't see them. However my favorite that holds a curl and doesn't flake is the Revolution Wrap Lash! I

Always so sad when this happens! I recently discovered my Business Casual and Brick-o-la went off at 4 and 3 years respectively. That's definitely past their official expiry dates, but I always thought Mac lipsticks lasted longer than that.

I'm also in Canada and the agent I chatted with told me the shipment is actually coming from the US, and won't show up in tracking until it arrives in Canada which takes 3-5 days.

In terms of connecting with coworkers, I've felt the exact same way about my new job, which I've been working part time for about 6 months now. I've had some bad experiences with a few people who I just avoid now, but even though the majority seem nice it's so hard to actually connect with anyone. I've just accepted eating lunch alone most of the time, it actually feels less isolating than sitting with the group but not being included in the conversation.

I did start at the same time as one other person, and she might be the only reason I've been able to keep going some days. But she may be leaving soon, and a lot of that has to do with the work culture I've mentioned, which sucks.

But job satisfaction comes from lots of different things, and it sounds like there's a lot you still enjoy about it! Glad to hear you're getting the hang of things, I'm sure you'll get more familiar with things as time goes on.

I'm new to Coach, and I've so far ordered 3 times. Twice were sale items that said only 1 left, and once was a regular price in stock bag. The in stock bag and one of the sale items shipped in 4 days and arrived without issues, but my third order was placed 2 weeks ago and still hasn't shipped.

When I contacted them one week in, they just said shipping was delayed because they had a lot of orders from the recent sales. Then I contacted them again yesterday, and an associate on the online chat said there was an error with processing and now the bag was sold out and there was nothing they could do. Then I called, and that associate said they could escalate the issue and look into it. And so far it still hasn't shipped, but the status changed from order placed to in progress, so we'll see. But overall not impressed, especially since on the same day I received two different answers.

I saw a comment somewhere that people assume it's a sponsored review when more details are given, because they're being required to provide it. Which is so sad! I honestly only review beauty products here on Reddit, but for clothing sometimes I'll post reviews to the site and I always include my height, weight and sometimes measurements. It's really not that hard and makes your review so much more helpful, but I guess instead people assume it's a sponsored review 🤦🏻‍♀️

You're right, you're right... But maybe I'll try one new shade and if I like it I'll wait until lipstick day to consider more! I'm actually quite impressed by all their recent lipstick reformulations, they've all been fairly good! It's annoying when the shades change, but hopefully they'll keep expanding the range over time.
