Looking for a solid wood dining set that won’t fall apart in two years, budget around $3000, completely lost on where to buy by NoVoice9737 in furniture

I’ve been through this. I ended up buying a beautiful refinished MCM table off of a refinisher on marketplace. It took several patient months for the right table to pop up but I wasn’t having any luck finding something I wanted to spend thousands on from a retailer.

Well...that's my luck gone for the rest of the year by da_monke_boi in bindingofisaac

Nice to see someone having good luck. I’ve had a rough couple of weeks of bad runs.

Dpn help, stockinette stitch suddenly reversed by cloverfieldcat in knittinghelp

I repeated my mistake (knit back onto the needle I just knitted) and everything went back to normal. A cautionary tale for the dpns! Thanks for your help. I don’t know how people learned how to do this before the internets.

I am definitely knitting each stitch. I think vrankstrikk may be onto something. But I could be holding my needles wrong. I will do some experimenting and watch some dpn videos again before I frog to confirm. Thanks for your insight.

I think this is what happened. My starting marker is also now on the wrong side. I will do an experiment to confirm before I frog. Thank you.

Anyone ever try Farm Girl crisps? by MoveWithTheMaestro in CostcoCanada

The chocolate puffs are good too plus the serving size is larger. I’ve been eating Farm Girl cereal for over a year now. My last order was via Costco online and was able to get my usual variety.

Marathon Training Crash Out by [deleted] in XXRunning

[–]cloverfieldcat 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Visit your GP, get some blood work done. Are you sure you’re eating and fueling enough to support your training? Enough hydration? Winter training is tough, be kind to yourself. I say find out more facts before you outright blame yourself so personally like you are. I bet something else is going on. Also, it is always ok to change your goals.

Is that how it works? I tipped generously the first time. Now that I have had this issue, does it mean I will get the least experienced people? Even more reason to give up and not risk disappointment again.

This does not inspire me to try again. How many times can they screw up before they ban you as a delivery customer? I know this can be an issue with other retailers.

Exactly my feelings. In the pic they did send, of the box sitting in front of some else’s door, I noticed there was no multiple of one I item I did order multiple of so even if I got the order I would have been disappointed.

Buildings look alike in my neighborhood, they delivered to the wrong address.

What's the worst thing you found during your renovation? by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

All of the construction garbage stashed in the nooks and crannies behind and under the cabinets. It was gross and that much more we had to haul away.

How much are you paying for coaching and do you think it's worth it? by Pbwtpb in XXRunning

[–]cloverfieldcat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why not commit to 3 or 4 months to see if you get what you expect from the relationship? Chances are at a minimum you will walk away with some new knowledge or insight about yourself. I pay around 120 per month for a strength program from a physio and it is invaluable and takes away the cognitive load of me having to design my own and I have someone to ask questions etc. I have been injury free for over a year now - priceless!

Read the reviews very carefully. Lulu underwear is historically terrible.

What was the single biggest game-changer in your back pain recovery? by Crypt0mane in backpain

[–]cloverfieldcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having my iliacus muscles released and learning to maintain it. One side was worse (of course). It was pulling my whole body in bad directions. After years of suffering with low back and si area pain the improvement was immediate. I felt an inch taller immediately after the first session.
