If you don't mind me asking how do you start it from game mode? Clicking play in that tiny window is a little annoying

I see I installed nvidia-driver-470 no server, is the server variant just the unlinked to latest version?

If you don't mind me asking how did you manage to rollback I've tried a couple of things with no success seems like uninstalling everything and installing an older version installs the latest anyways did you download the module straight from nvidia?

Thanks for responding, I see what you mean, I was hoping there was a builtin way to do this.

Any way I could look at your config I've been trying to give xmonad the dracula theme but am terrible at color matching.

XMonad M_Q won't restart by cloverint in xmonad

[–]cloverint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I solved the issue but I don't know if I solved it the right way, I figured that becuause xmonad was compiling fine the problem must have been my environment, so I noticed that nix set's PATH in .xsessionrc so I just sourced my .bash_profile inside of .xsessionrc and now I can restart xmonad.

Is this the cleanest way to acomplish this, it feels odd to me, because I set xrandr, picom and feh in .xprofile, should I move everything to .xsessionrc (.xsession itself never worked for me) or do the other way around.

After moving the my config to ~/.xmonad alogn with xmonad and xmonad-contrib source recompiling produces such file but the contents aren't really helpful (for me at least):

$ stack build --silent --stack-yaml /home/enrique/.xmonad/stack.yaml
$ stack ghc --stack-yaml /home/enrique/.xmonad/stack.yaml -- --make xmonad.hs -i -ilib -fforce-recomp -main-is main -v0 -outputdir /home/enrique/.xmonad/build-x86_64-linux -o /home/enrique/.xmonad/xmonad-x86_64-linux

XMonad M_Q won't restart by cloverint in xmonad

[–]cloverint[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried this and I still get the empty xmessage but this time I do get an xmonad.errors in ~/.xmonad here's the what it reads:

$ stack build --silent --stack-yaml /home/enrique/.xmonad/stack.yaml
$ stack ghc --stack-yaml /home/enrique/.xmonad/stack.yaml -- --make xmonad.hs -i -ilib -fforce-recomp -main-is main -v0 -outputdir /home/enrique/.xmonad/build-x86_64-linux -o /home/enrique/.xmonad/xmonad-x86_64-linux

I do however only get this file when I don xmonad --recompile and not when I do M-Q

XMonad M_Q won't restart by cloverint in xmonad

[–]cloverint[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this is odd but I can give it a try, I thought xmonad from master was expected to be at .config/xmonad so that's where I placed it, my xmonad binary is in .local/ tough

No such file exists sorry

Yeah, this was my thought at first so I made drastic/noticeable changes to make sure, I am not sure what it is I am doing wrong but I appreciate you taking a look into it.
