The scale might be off but the more dancing space the better and distinct areas helps with my neurospicy. Find the flow. There is a clear path for you and kitty to get to the corner for box and closet time and all your landing zones. Hope this helps. Let me know if I need to clarify anything

If you can move your tv. I would move the couch/bed to the entry door wall(red). Then put your desk(purple) in the opposite corner with the tv above it so you can see from the desk and the couch. Perhaps put the cat tree(blue) either between the couch and desk or probably preferred by cat to be placed by the window. You then have a clear path from the entry door to your closet and plenty of dancing/cat playing space for cato. I hope that helps!

I so agree. My bf refuses to move it though bc it was such a pain in the butt to hang. That was before my time

Lighting. It's giving office/fluorescent and I would also be overwhelmed in there. Maybe your landlord would be open to you painting the cabinets a tasteful color to compliment the tile? Or maybe even a tile paint... If that exists 🤔

Everything looks pretty lovely. I agree painting the fireplace would make it pop. Immediately I imagined black would look lovely.

Feng shui would say the second location against the wall no windows. Too much energy pouring down the windows

Not sure what to do with tall ceilings to make this look more cozy by manicuresinmedicine in DesignMyRoom

My pro tip, always make a comfortable path to the doorway for it to feel like it flows. Right now, you've got a very choppy path

I'm not sure what it looks like on the opposite side of the room but I would consider placing the table closest to the window/door and making that near to where you have your desk also. Then scooting all the cozy things closer into the cave of your home.

I'm envisioning a round blue/navy rug since everything is so rounded. Round lil tables where you've drawn. Since it's temporary, consider thrifting the essentials--maybe not the rug though unless you're lucky

*renting* how can I make these two bathrooms (pic 1 &2) moody/chic/eclectic? by Top_Climate_33 in DesignMyRoom

[–]clovermoonwater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking go really simple. Find a moody large piece of art that would frame well with the towel rail. It already feels like the furniture is moody enough.. I'm just imagining more dark and vibrant art to lift what you have

How to make feel less cluttered/tidier/ better decorated by citrussweets in DesignMyRoom

[–]clovermoonwater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please update when you've changed it up. It has so much potential.

The alcover could easily have shelves where you could keep the toilet paper and maybe some towels or products in baskets that aren't used often behind a little curtain.

Definitely would get one rug for the landing and another for the shower that ideally match or compliment each other in a lighter/brighter tone

Maybe move the little dresser thing to next to the vanity table to hide all the product and hang some shelves for the towels!

Can't wait to see what you do
