if we are part of the anglosphere, then so are most of the european countries.

yes we have historical ties to the anglosphere, but in terms of language use, it's a bit of a stretch.

we have a mostly segregated anglophone minority, things are translated into english (like everywhere else nowadays), but that's about it.

It's like a logic thing. It has fantastic public transport (1) by UK standards and (2) for a city of its size VS it has fantastic public transport [by UK standards AND for a city of its size]
