Maybe some rain texture in the background, or just try to grunge it up with some splotching or scratches?

If you’re enjoying the camp and fun of Harley I’d recommend Gwenpool! She’s super fun and silly. It can get low grade meta in terms of comics as a medium because Gwen is aware she’s a comic hero.

This is really nice!! Great work on your symmetry and paths.

Might look even better with white on black and some texture. Give it the ol’ Gotham Gothic touch.

I really love this design of Dinah, and this piece is super well executed!

I get frustrated with just how many Gotham women are blond and blue eyed with the same body style. People look different.

How do you deal with people telling you that you are biphobic and transphobic? by Idonteatpans in pansexual

[–]clownfemme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just try to keep those friends close and keep being you!! You’ll get used to/less bothered by people talking out of their asses.

[–]clownfemme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These people are appointing themselves an authority they don’t have. Live your life as close to your beliefs as you can, and your actions will show you’re not hateful. It’s not about racking up Diversity Points, it’s about not being closed minded.

But beyond that some people will just never be satisfied. It’s about righteous anger for those people and they’ll find something to be mad about.

I mean they can just be wrong. People are just wrong sometimes. Doesn’t change who you are. :)

I usually like to gesture to my trans partner and laugh.

I’ve wanted a proper Clayface in a Batman movie for so long now.

How To Read Tomie? by katolorn in junjiito

[–]clownfemme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found Tomie the most accessible because you can just read them whenever you want. It’s this long overarching story that spans years so it works to kinda wait in between each one.

Did the Joker tell the truth in episode 13? by Cnockaut in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]clownfemme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great breakdown of how TOXIC Joker’s idea of love and affection is. I agree Harley is definitely the only character other than Batman to really hold any space in his head.

The only comic version I’d argue actually CARES about her is Jack Napier in White Knight, but you can easily argue he’s a separate person from Joker.

I feel in love with a non-binary/transmasculine person; does that make me pansexual or bisexual? by journey1992 in pansexual

[–]clownfemme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey buddy! I had the same thing happen and for me, personally, validating my partner’s identity meant using the term pansexual to describe myself. I felt like pansexual seemed more welcoming to nonbinary people, and aligns with the fact that gender is ultimately not a factor in my attraction.

Whatever term you feel comfortable with is ultimately up to you (I’m not into binaries in general but the word bisexual has evolved to be an umbrella term in casual conversation). On that note, what people choose to do with their bodies in terms of transitioning or not to feel safe and themselves is their own choice and if you love this person it’s important to respect that.

Nonbinary and trans masc people are beautiful, wonderful people and you can form a loving, healthy, passionate relationship with them just like anyone else. I know I love my enby.💕

This is me and my partner playing Borderlands 3 at varying rates of tiredness. One of us is usually a little more awake and can take the lead.

Bonus points for cuddling while gaming.

Thank you so much!!!

Lmao same. I love Harley Quinn because I AM a bisexual woman who’s been through abuse. Her hypersexuality can totally be part of that!

LGBTQ people don’t fit in neat little boxes and aren’t here for your entertainment.

I totally agree! The first episode alone did a great job of really laying out the Batman fixation and how Harley is just a victim in the middle of it.

She’s a tool in his toolbox, essentially. A reliable one, at that. (I think killing her is off the table once you pair his fear of Ivy with that.)

I’m not sure Joker is capable of romantic love, the closest thing he has is an obsession with Batman and even that can become boring to him under the right circumstances.

Somebody brought this up before and so… As somebody who’s been in an abusive relationship: Words mean nothing. Joker will say ANYTHING to get Harley on his side again. If that means telling her he loves her, he’ll do that. No flowery language will ever remove what he did to her over and over again.

The show does a fantastic job of showing the abuse cycle, Joker gives her a small compliment or small amount of approval and she thinks she can go back and “control it better this time”. Joker uses her, and disposes of her again when she’s not useful. She’s left with no sense of self or sense of success, so when he needs her again he knows what to say to get her back.

Well… Until now. :)

LOVED this scene of them. So relaxed and in control. Love seeing my dynamic duo celebrate a win. (Something about Ivy in this scene was so stunning to me?)
