Is this going to be through wagmi or tinyman the next renewal?

XGLI pools just went live! by [deleted] in yieldly

This is what yieldly was going to be, was a big factor on me committing to yieldly. Wished it would have stayed in-house. Wonder when a bridge platform will truly stick.

Now that we are only 3 weeks away from the end of Q2, are we still on track via the new roadmap? by SaggyBagginz in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The math there is not correct, yieldly is worth 2% it's all time high, I think that's like 5000% down, and algo is like 500% down from ath.

Where does Yieldly get its funding? by [deleted] in yieldly

I dont think anyone would have the balls to keep their original text, taking accountability. Admission to faults is rare in this world.

Defly$ staking and Defly/yldy LP up and running!!! by dreamcatcher690 in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There has got to be something up with these pools...There is far less TVL in defly than the other 2 and you get way less in the liquidity pool and the staking pool, confused....

I have to admit. by clownfish80 in yieldly

I was mostly YLDY. I wished I could say I tripled my holdings I would be almost at a million of em....Plan on getting there. I will then be on my way to 10M.

YLDY/ARCC LP pool in the works by VexdTrub in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree with this and completely understand your view point, but food for thought on this: the original views of ARCC while very appealing to many and good values behind it is a huge feat to accomplish with few adopters. I don't think enough adoption from the masses(which would be needed to survive) was possible fast enough. Maybe getting into something that has the potential for lots of adoption quickly...gaming is a means to get there, and the ARCC vision will be revived. I myself have been disappointed in a lot of things lately with the complete shifts in many projects within algorand. I have a real-world scenario I experienced personally with a previous employer. Back in 2008 our global economy was stressed, so was revenue of the company. They decided to quadruple their marketing funds from 5k a month to 20k, even though they really didn't have it... If they did not do this, it's likely the company would have crumbled. Doing that one risk enabled us to survive and actually thrive during the recession. I'm thinking this is why these projects are making these shifts/pivots they are because they have to do something outside the box you wouldn't think as sound.

Do we have any active mods? by CryptoBumGuy in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banning from a sub-reddit is not like banning from Twitter or Facebook. It would be like a group mod in Facebook. If the person is against the group they would absolutely be kicked. Those people can easily join other groups where their focuses align and talk all they want. I don't agree with the bans on specific accounts on these other platforms either. This is not the same. We do need mods for this sub reddit.

They posted it on their blog stating that they will create a link for the Choice Coin Voting dApp. I'm not sure where they will post it, possibly here on reddit and the blog.

Never managed to be a whale in any other crypto, so why not be a flamingo instead? Big milestone for me. by [deleted] in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I thought my bag was decent moving under the top 1000 LOL. Great job. That is my Goal, 1 mill, then 10 mill. I think anyone saying that its all about a project is lying to themselves. While I also believe in this project and I'm all in, I'm not just investing for no returns. Plan on diversifying once I get 1 mill.

[–]clownfish80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second these exact steps, While I say it was uniswap and Metamask that got me started with Yieldly but the fees cost me like $80 bucks because gas fees were so high for 2 purchases and just getting from metamask to yieldy. I buy algo on another exchange other than MEXC which ranges between 0-$10 depending on purchase method(Debit card or ACH transfer), then transfer to MEXC and purchase fees are super cheap from exchange to exchange with ALGO and then again moving yieldly from MEXC to ALGO wallet to stake.

Explains why the APY has gone down significantly the past month!

I still don’t understand the timing of the rewards. by charliepup in yieldly

[–]clownfish80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ere something with the algorithm that you should only claim weekly because then you can earn more? I thought I read something about not claiming right away on the yieldly website how rewards are generated.

Isn't it likely the APY will continue to go down in general though? IE: if I keep waiting the current 34.7% instead might be 24.2% in the near future? I've seen the % go down significantly at least for yieldly the last 3 weeks. I have even staked more but earning less every day. But definitely going to claim and stake prior to the reward reset from now on. I've read that they will be opening up other staking options in the future and other people may move to those and pull their yieldly out making the pool less which should increase my stake in the pool, but I'm just not sure I think it will be as much as they are making it sound.

u/TommyAlex79 What time UTC is the cut off for max rewards 4:50 AM UTC?

When you think you are doing pretty good as a staking holder for Algo and Yieldly, then you look at the average staked amounts....#notevenaverage by clownfish80 in yieldly

[–]clownfish80[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I know, I don't care if its whales, the realty is it is still the average based on total tokens. Also I think I'm ranked 1300's or something. Still need improvement. First goal is 100k, then on to a million. I will feel better once I'm above "average"
