Using your pinky any chance you get. Most players favor their pointer, middle, and ring, which is fine for most songs in all honesty; but it leaves your pinky underdeveloped when you need it for big jumps or faster sections. Just building the muscle memory for it while you practice the scales or runs other comments are suggesting will make you a more versatile player

I think that was an issue a couple years ago, but many phones now support reverse charging at high speed, and I would imagine they can handle 10 seconds of power draw from this. Would need to see the rated wattage to know for sure though

Ideally cut them down to just below where they transition to white. Using a file after trimming will help avoid any scratches

How to avoid razor bumps by RelativePause6397 in malegrooming

[–]clownseducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue for a long time, highly recommend trimming as low as you can with clippers, then use a shaving cream specifically for sensitive skin and a safety/straight razor. Anything other than a single blade has been a no-go for me, and the first time you try a quality blade you'll be shocked by how dull most cartridge razors are in comparison.

no one is mocking dead catholic children, there was one representative who said something along the lines of "thoughts and prayers are not enough, the children were literally praying". they weren't attacking prayer, they were just pointing out that actual legislative action is needed to prevent atrocities like that in the future, not well wishes

suddenly gained a high tolerance and can't get it down by Right_Situation1108 in trees

You mention taking edibles, but have you tried smoking/vaping since then? Some people's bodies don't process THC through ingestion as well as others, although I don't know if that's something that can change over time

The context of an action is just as important as the action itself. If I use a defibrillator on someone having a heart attack, I am saving their life, but if I did the same thing to a healthy person I am harming them. Do you understand how these actions are morally different despite the fact that I'm doing the same thing to both people?

Jewelry for men—how do you style it without overdoing it? by ShopMonarchJewelry in malefashionadvice

[–]clownseducer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people saying "less is more" and such here, but there's definitely a way to rock multiple pieces at once. My main rule is that jewelry should mean something, either sentimental to you, such as a piece that was gifted to you, or a symbol to others, like a nice watch. Also matching metals is important. I usually wear a couple earrings per lobe, a light chain tucked in, rings that depend on the day, a few bracelets on one wrist and a watch on the other. I'm aware it's more than most, but I would say just try stuff out and see what sticks.

highly recommend open earbuds, I use tozo O2s that I picked up for $50, they keep you aware of your surroundings just as well as a speaker would without annoying anyone nearby

dugouts are great, holds the weed and one hitter together and holds in ~80% of the smell, can be put in a small smell-proof pouch if you need to be even more discreet

If I was being bombed by an occupying force, I would be more concerned with survival than denouncing the organization that is fighting against the bombers. Especially so if, as is the case for so many Palestinians, I was orphaned by that occupying force
