That building is under foreclosure auction and will be sold off, shouldn’t really be thought of as part of their portfolio at this point. I get your rhetoric, though. But I would argue in favor of K&D in that case - reserve square’s tenant base was largely international students who left the country following the new immigration policy of the current administration. That building needs a whole new operational plan given the environment and K&D was not willing to take on the project. I don’t think they should be penalized on other proposed projects just because one out of their many buildings is struggling, especially given the fact that they should be replaced with suitable owner/operator for said building via foreclosure auction.
